    I don't start a lot of threads but when I do I usually spend quite a bit of time debating whether or not the topic is thread-worthy before I finally pull the trigger. Most of them perform dismally while some other nonsensical thread that someone obviously spent three seconds constructing will get 100 replies.

    So I don't sweat it. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the whole process.

    depends on how much effort i put in the OP. nothing worse than a wall of text failing.

    it bothers me more when i am the last post. i keep wondering if i just happened to post when a thread was dying, or did i kill a thriving thread ? no one ever tells me, so i never know, and then keep wondering..... i put on a brave face though, and don't let anyone know that it bothers me. usually, if people don't know something bugs you, they can't use it against you. maybe one day, people will post after i post. since i don't know if i was the cause or a victim of unfortunate circumstances, i keep posting with hope .
