On a serious note-yes. I'm old enough to see the affects of daily pot smoking on somebody for 20 years now and have watched as senses are dulled, and initiative diminished. I don't have anything against pot and would like to see it legalized but I've seen it work like a long-term lobotomy on people who are using it habitually instead of recreationally. Creeps up slowly but it does.

My dentist says that. Moving out to the sticks (Portland, Oregon) it's a different slice of life. My dentist says he sees a lot of rotten teeth due to soda and by an overwhelming margin, Mtn. Dew does much more harsh damage quicker than the others.

I knew this old lawyer who quit drinking in his forties or fifties and went exclusively to pot. He often had a glazed look in his eye and couldn't remember people's names after a while. They made him retire after he shit his pants in court one day. They could tolerate him ineffectively assisting people with their trials, but when he made the whole courtroom smell like shit, well they couldn't have that.

I think if someone smokes that stuff every once in a while, they'll be ok, but all the time will take its toll.

I'm all for legalization and have nothing against pot. In moderation it sparks creativity. In excess it lowers ambition. Either way, pot heads are rarely uncool people.
