Finally got $5/5mo deal from sirius. super confusing, no wonder howard hates them

I called today to turn off my radio. I was on month to month since the first of this month. In the meantime I did the free trial on my phone and decided to keep that. I was originally told the phone was $3 a month.

Turns out, it's only $3 as an add-on. Otherwise it's $15. Lame. So the guy says he'll give me the $5 for 5 months deal so I can do the phone as an add on for $3. ok.

The phone trial hadn't expired yet, but it expired later in the afternoon, so I called to put it on my account. I had to pay something like $8.28 activation fee for the phone. For what, nobody knew, except that's the fee to turn it on. Which was lame because the phone was already on and working, so... anyway, i had to pay it.

So I have radio and phone for like $8 a month, half price of what i paid for radio only for the month.

i had 3 radios, i turned 2 off. 1 had antenna issues, 1 was my whore ex wifes. its not the service it was the circumstance. sirius continues to send me offers to turn radios back on.

let me pay 5 bucks for the radio i have left.

i had the same exact issue with verizon a few years ago.

i wanted a land line turned off, they fought with me to keep it and said they would drop the price from 42 to 14 dollars.

if they are willing to settle for such low fees, that shows what they are probably profitting from fucking the public

Why would you turn off your subscription? That is not what a "super fan" is supposed to do..right? Luckily, I have a lifetime subscription..so no worries for me....you, however...should be gracious to pay $15 a month for Howie. What..you don't like "the revolution"? If Howard knew..he would be pissed...so I suggest you get on the phone and give up that $5 a month deal, and offer to pay $15...its still the best deal in town for "Americas Judge".

I didn't turn off the subscription, just the radio. I have a subscription on the phone. I'm hardly in the car anymore, mostly on my scooter.

Hater!!!!!!!! $15/month works out to $3.75 a show for the four live HSS's that will be offered in August. Seems like a small price to pay for AGT wrap-up, Whitney Cummings, Ronnie's block parties and hundreds of commercials

I called to renew my plan and was asked what channels I listen to. I said Howard Stern and the XM guy said "Really? You are the first person to say that in awhile. Mostly we get people who want to cancel cause he is hardly on." Got a good deal. I pay $21.99 and don't have to pay again till 1/13/13. Have everything including phone and internet listening. Guess they want to keep what customers they have left.

Who pay's for sirius when you can get a lifetime subscription for free? Tell them you don't want the service anymore, refuse the discount they offer you, they will transfer you and offer you the next 3-6 months for free. Been trying to cancel for the last 9 months, but if they will give it to me for free i'll take it.

i'm cancelling my shit soon, been saying it for a while. but it's time, the show is garbage i'll download it and listen a day behind just because I HAVE TO.

I'm new here, just signed up because I noticed Howard isn't himself this week and last week for his first 2 day week, therre was no acknowledgement of it, he wouldn't take phone calls or address it, I waited all show Monday. Does anyone else think things are off on the show? he's too happy, in a weird way. I cancelled my 2nd sub today, I have a lifetime for the home dock. Was sad to do it, but the show hasn't been real this week or last. Howard hasn't kvetched about one thing. I am new, and didn't know I can't post a new thread, this topic is the one reason I signed up on the forum. He just seems off. He's usually real about his feelings, and it's just been bits, playing Comic Con, interviews in studio and no phone calls and no listener emails. I am sure many of us noticed he was two days last week. I assume it will be two days this week. So bummed. He gets me thru the week.

I just got an email offer of $5 for 6 months. I win. I would accept it, but it's for my stilletto, which gets crappy reception.
