Coughlin stays but they absolutely have to fire Kill drive. Sure enough in the 2nd half they fell into the predictable run on first and run on 2nd and then forced into a 3rd and long. This is exactly what he said he wouldn't do during the week. Thankfully they played the worst defense in the NFL so it didn't bite them in the ass. San Fran is another story. Giants cannot expect to move downfield as easily. 3rd down percentage was off the charts and if they play a team like the 9'ers is a whole different game. Jury is still out on Fewell. In fairness to him he had multiple key injuries all year. Hard to properly grade him.

Players win games not coaches. NFL coaches have more of an impact than any other sport, but you still need the players to execute.

Totally agreed A., which is why Fewell gets a pass this year. However, it is my firm belief that the Giants Offense wins sometimes despite Killdrive. He's had a relatively healthy Giants offense and it's not even that they aren't winning as they are 60 minutes from the SB, it's more his fucking play calling is so god damn predictable. That said, I can appreciate Coughlin knows better than I do and in some regards it's good to see Tom not react to the NY media's (and fans) whim.

Yeah sometimes Eli needs to be unleashed as I don't get some of their play calling. Put the ball in your best players hands and let him win the game.

Still alot of coaches get conservative late in the game when they have a lead. They don't want to blow it and end up getting the blame.
