No doubt this was not in any way shape or form a playoff squad let alone a Super bowl winner when I posted that.

But now you are here, not only making my point of how hypocritical you are, but making a fool of yourself too boot.

Obviously the Giants aren't the same team they were in week 1, 5, 10 or even week 12. But YOU, in your attempt to say the Pats would crush the Giants, kept saying the Giants were the same squad. I belive you were going on and on about how they lost to Washington twice and Seattle and Philly and there was no way they could possibly beat the Pats as such.

    Remember????

Way to twist my words. Show me where I said Patriots would crush the Giants. My point was the Giants aren't unbeatable like everybody was making them out to be when they have losses to shit teams like Washington, Seattle, and Philly.

Coughlin went from being fired by Wild to possibly securing his spot in Canton in the same season.

With 2 bad losses to the redskins and a double digit loss to the seahawks at home, the Giants looked like shit most of the season. They were 7 and 7 and looked like a bad team. If they missed the playoffs, there would have been a justifiable reason to fire Coughlin. This is monday morning quaterbacking now.

The Giants pulled together as a team and they were the hottest team and the best team and deserved to win the Super Bowl. They outplayed the Packers and the Patriots. Coughlin deserves an extension now and say what you want Eli is a Hall of famer now. 2 Super Bowl wins and 2 Super Bowl MVPs.

When this thread was made the Giants legitamately were an underachieving team. That in every sport puts the target on teh head coach/manager. And NY has always been a what have you done for me lately town.

Look at Rex Ryan, he went from a hero taking the Jets to 2 AFC championships in a row to people telling him to shut his fat mouth shut.

Eli for sure earned his place in the Hall of Fame. As for the Giants losing the first part of the season, thats the cool thing about football and sports for that matter, it was like when the Cardinals had that Super Bowl run they just basically started "clicking" and just outperformed better teams it's fun to watch because on paper The Pats and Packers had the better team and the Giants just played better football and won.

As for the above post by Pussah, he's pretty dead on. The eventual outcome proves the fans point even more.
Fact is, they had a SB winning team and yet middle of the season they were lifeless. That is certainly enough validation for the fans wanting coaching changes. For other teams (take your pick), who feel their coaches should be fired consider that there were few teams as talented who didn't have matching stellar records (Pats, 49'ers, Lions, GB, NO, Ravens Pitt). Their records match their talent.

As for the Pats being better on paper, no way. There is no imaginable way the Pats are better in any way shape or form than the Giants. At almost every single position they Giants are a better team. Front 4, running backs, WR's, corners, QB, and O-line. The one area I'll give the Pats is the TE's. It was to the Pats disadvantage to play such a horrible schedule so their fans got a false sense of security that they were better than they really are. They played 4 winning teams and lost every game. The one win they did have against a legit squad (Baltimore) they really should have lost. The teams that were better on paper were GB, SF, and NO.
