Jenny McCarthy is actually surprisingly good at live TV hosting. To be able to give ins and outs, follow cues, ask questions- staying in the moment, while keeping her light airy/bawdy/funny personality is a talent. What she is able to do on television is not an easy thing. I have worked with live talent on tv- and appreciate the skill of those doing it well. The gig is a lot harder than it seems.

you can hate on her personality all you want- but she is a skilled live tv host and will ALWAYS be able to find work in front of the camera for the rest of her life.

That's debatable . She has been on the fringe of celebrity long enough to soak up enough knowledge to get by. Just my opinion.

The funny thing is this screwup happens right before the big meeting where the shit hits the fan.

I don't know- I think her on air work is pretty impressive- you can't train yourself - some is just having talent. Jenny McCarthy is better in live spots than like Ann Curry or Julie Chen- I watched a really horrible dating show that she was hosting over the summer- and she did an impressive job- if you put in most other female hosts and had them asking similar questions, hosting the same show- it could be a complete trainwreck.

She impresses me from a professional standpoint- and the fact that she is a playmate and has fake boobs is why she is as famous as she is- but no way is she a no talent.

I'll only answer since you posted the question/thought:

I "hate on" Jenny McCarthy because of irresponsible view on autism and vaccinations. There are moron parents out there that will forgo vaccinations like polio, measles, rubella, and hepatitis in fear of something that is baseless. I mentioned those concerns to my pediatrician and my GP when my son was born 18 months ago and I swear, I got laughed at and eye rolled. To think that some low-IQ mom might watch a little too much day time TV and come across that as a valid view (and let's face it: an opportunity to save a buck on doctor's visits).

Here's a personal message for Doctor McCarthy: Shut up and take off your clothes and keep kissing some lucky Marine on New Years. When it comes to the well-being of kids, the only thing she's an expert in is the process of making them.

Beetlejuice has done more for the show than all of those people combined.

I agree- personally I find Mccarthy annoying and grating. I dont think she is a good interview. But just from a professional standpoint- she is not a no talent. She actually is skilled and I'm pretty impressed from what she is capable of professionally. The fact that she does it so effortlessly makes people think the live hosting thing is easy- it is a hard thing to do.

I turn my radio whenever Beetlejuice comes on.It's the same exact shtick with him.No offence to Beetlejuice but you don't find out anything new with him and there's nothing funny about the bit anymore..He's a great wachpacker.But it's been done over and over again..At least I found out that Jenna Jamison and Jenny McCarthy was screwing around with each other.
