The article is pretty much criticizing everything about the show EXCEPT Howard.

I also like that they called out Sharon for her jealous remark about Howard giving out tickets on his show.
I mean, you have a show too, Sharon -- what's stopping you from giving out tickets to all of your "The Talk" fans?

i wrote my theory of why he married her on the other board. i don't think it was overly negative but i'm not posting it here. i don't think beth had to do much to win howard over, she was tall, a model, would put out and was nice. i don't think howard fell head over heals for her, he is a calculated man. Paul McCartney married heather mills without a prenup for example, howard is cynical by nature and was never someone who would let his emotions get the better of him.

well i don't normally play detective on a board, usually don't care, but i find you interesting. you have about the same join date as me, but you only became a full member rather recently... and you have a higher post count. the first comment on your profile was from backspace, you post about the same amount as him, and you go to all the places he goes, and he was very protective of the show. backspace was also a bit weird and would change his posting style, he also followed sally like you do. half my profile page was by backspace, so i guess the similarities caught my eye.

And this is where I have a division between me and the typical BethO hater. I think Howard COMPLETELY fell in love with her (he's a whipped mammas boy who can never be alone) and I think Beth COMPLETELY is not smart enough to Svengali her way into this...

Your McCartney analogy is apt, I feel, because both Paul and Howard are romantics with mother issues. They want the TLC and the smiling face in the morning, and then to be left alone 'til bedtime...

howard isn't stupid though. if you listened to him, and i think you have, he has clearly expressed the dangers of dating when you are rich and famous. he doesn't drop his guard like Paul McCartney does. i always bring up 2 incidents which are great example of beth being petrified of saying the wrong thing, sal's interview and the massage parlor incident. howard dated her for 8 years and made her sign a prenup, these aren't typical of someone who is head over heals for someone. Beth is no Einstein, but she has shown that she has a higher EQ then people on the boards think.

I'm certain Howard genuinely thinks Beth is hot.During his marriage to Allison he was always resentful when others who he deemed less talented had hot wives and girlfriends. The only problem is that she's just not that hot. Especially compared to so many other woman he could have landed.
