Don't work for the station I'm video for the club, the radio station booked the club for their battle of the bands promo.

Apparently the winner from tonight gets to do a set tomorrow at Staples Center or Nokia or where ever the radio station is doing their big once a year concert. I guess all these radio stations do their once a year blow out. Here's the club.

You'd think so but unfortunately the gig is more or less non-fraternizing, we're there to supply the party extras for the clients and guests. I've been doing the in house video for almost two years now and I've only had one beer at the club. My job is to be and stay straight so I can do my job well. It's weird being at a club and everyone is fucked up but you.

I ran video for Jamie Foxx's, Foxxhole there for a year and a half every Monday, don't know if you ever go there on Sirius radio but most of their live programming came from this club. Mark Curry hosted and Jamie Foxx showed up for the bigger shows.

I'm in an enclosed room upstairs off the VIP area that keeps me away from the main floor, you need that so you can focus on the task at hand. Running 5 cameras on remote control without fuckin up takes a bit of focus and concentration. My live feed goes out to the clubs large screen projectors stage left and right and there are big flat screens throughout. Any mistakes go out for all to see including management.

So what you'd think would be one big party is not. On the plus side, it is a rush to do. I've done Snoop Dogg, Lenny Kravitz, Black Eyed Peas, Common
Elvis Crespo, Trey Songz, Warren G. just to name a few. It's a fun gig when it comes through. But pussy is not one of the perks.

If you were hitting on the clients and guests you would not be there long. They'd see that as a bad thing.
