  1. If you don't have an account click the "login or signup" tab in the upper right & create one. To make things easy you can quickly create it using your facebook, twitter, or google login. Your real identity & your login credentials for those sites will remain private. Just be sure to choose an alias when you set it up. PS: Even if you haven't been to SFN in years, your old login will still work.

    most of the changes are hidden to all of you. they are staff tools that allow for better communication & member offense tracking so we can tell the assholes from fans whoa re just upset that day. I posted about them at the bottom of this post.

    the new feature that gives VIPs (staff & wackpackers) certain moderation powers in any thread that they've posted in are not turned on yet. the regular staff needs to learn the new system before I throw that monkey wrench into the mix.

    it's only to boot people from a specific thread that that VIP has posted in. it gives them the ability to come here & talk to fans without being attacked. as people attack them they can just kick them out of the convo like they can do now on facebook or twitter. they also can send the staff warnings about asshole posters.

    yeah i understand the mod i guess boots was a bad example
    i can picture say highpitch going into every thread and making a post and blocking everyone he dont like

    Perhaps this would also be a good opportunity to reevaluate exactly who deserves to be a wackpack/show contributor VIP. I think we could easily cull the heard by at least a couple to the benefit of all.

    I can see that too & yes it could go horribly wrong. they've had plenty of times where people would follow them around SFN to attack them in every thread they post in. maybe those people needed a taste of their own medicine.

    besides, it could be lots of fun for the rest of us

    yes, the VIP title will be re-vamped. it will go back to be just for people you know from air. the others will be moved to a new category. I believe it will be called "trusted members"

    It's the 30/30/30 rule.To stop hit and run trolls on this site they have this rule.For 30 days you are limited to one post at 30 minute gaps.Also they want you to post 30 replies as well in this 30 day probationary period to show that you will be a regular poster.
