uggggh if his lawyers had any sense of humour they would audiotape their private sessions

im willing to bet Howie in private is probably more of a baby than Mel Gibson - probably with a dirtier mouth too

Howard thinks the lawyers are on his side, after all they are fellow Jews. They are gonna milk him for all they can. Karma is a bitch. Not only did he lose without a trial. (which saved him some money on legal fees) but he's making himself miserable about it too.

It doesn't matter if the lawyers are Jewish or not, bro. They all do it the same way.

The lawyer's "rifle" is not pointed at the other side. The rifle is pointed at Howard's wallet. Given the chance, they will litigate this up to the US Court of Appeals or Supreme Court if allowed.

From what I've read, Howard had no case, and he never should have sued.

Yeah, his popularity may have been a partial reason or even a big reason for the merger. But that is not relevant, and not provable in court. They were not new subscribers. They were previous customers transferred in the corporate merger.

I can't believe this was Howard's airtight case.

    He needs an advisor.......

Howard has a whole legal firm working on this. Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe.

"bonus for HS generated subscribers.... bonus for a merger....." Now Howard wants us to believe that his contract should count merger generated subscribers as HS generated subscribers"?

Howard may deserve more money , but not from the contract. I think he is as informed about his contract as he is about the Trayvon Martin case.

The way he interpreted the judge's decision it sounds like his lawyers are the ones who fucked him to begin with. He said the judge said (paraphrasing) "I agree with the theory of your lawsuit but with the way it was actually written I have to dismiss it."

What would be the point of saying "HS generated subscribers", if that was suppose to include any and all subscribers regardless of a merger with XM. They would have taken out the "HS generated" if that was the case right?
It just makes no sence, but Howard has 300,000,000 reasons to believe it I suppose.

ha ha more of his precious money is going to be wasted on an appeal. His attorneys are sure having fun with him feeding his fire and billable hours. "Howard we should appeal this" tee hee wink wink

So enlighten us Renhquist. What's your take? And I gotta think that if he appealed to the Federal Court, (is it the Second Circuit? been a while for me) and lost, it would end there.

It's frustrating to listen Howard insist that the Judge got it wrong and he's correct.
He can't even entertain the thought that maybe- just maybe- all that that $$$$$ he paid Buchwald and a bevy of lawyers and they still wrote it wrong?
IMO-That's who he should be upset with. I'm sure Buchwald is working OT licking Stern's ass because he knows it's his fault.
Items relating to salary and bonuses are usually written several different ways, under numerous lines of the agreement.
Buchwald and his lawyers should have covered the legal language every which way to prevent such interpentation.
It appears they did not. They were too busy counting their $$$$.
Howard does have the option to sue Buchwald. Clients sue the agencies all the time for far less.

It wasn't even a matter of them writing the contract wrong. Sirius would have never been so stupid as to give Howard a bonus from listeners from XM brought over as a result of a merger.

Howard is the one to blame for thinking that money was ever his, and whoever agreed with him and convinced him that he should get that money are to blame too.

My take is irrelevant. Everyone has an opinion. I enjoy how some people post their opinion as fact, or seem to be the most informed person in the world about what Howard's lawyers told him or that their analysis is wrong, or that the fact that a judge made a decision means its over.

But if you want my take on it, throw me a link to the contract and a link to the judge's decision and I'll read them.

But its not frustrating that some SFN posters insist that Howard is right and the judge is wrong, because siding with Howard would be uncool. Anyone can be right but you have to take a side and blindly fight for it, right?

This raises an interesting question, though. How did you get to be the way you are... physically, intelligence-wise, etc?

Do you mind sharing what your parents' respective ethnicities were, if you ever had problems with dysfunctional glands as a child, or whether there are other mongoloids in your extended family?

Of course Howie should fight it...I mean, his team of lawyers have been right so far, right? They are gonna soak poor Howie out of millions on an appeal, and the result will be the same. The best part of is all is listening to Howie's defense of it all, and how HE is more knowledgeable than the Judge is in this case.

Keep up the fight Howie! You deserve every cent you are owed, and you continue to do riveting radio everyday. You are about as funny as you are relevant.

You mean the lawyers told him to file an appeal in which Howard might win?????I think anybody that doesn't the silly hate for Howard realizes that it was a bit unfair that the case wasn't brought in front of the jury for trial.
