Are you Sal's accountant or do you have other verification for your claim and yes JD lives in Brooklyn, near the terminus of the subway line at Coney Island, an absolute shithole. You would do better if you stuck with the facts, Sal chooses to work for Stern at whatever salary he makes, no one is forcing him to do it so it doesn't matter whether others think it's a fair salary or not. JD has zero ambition, he wastes his life at a dead end job and wastes his money on porn so he too deserves exactly what he gets. It's up to them to change their circumstances if they don't like them, something Stutering John did.

What perplexes me is why is SJ still with the Tonight Show? Leno most likely hired him to ride Howard's coat tails and hopefully attract some of his fans. However he has no descernable talent and I thought he'd be long gone by now.

I'm not Sal's accountant because he mentioned what he made around the time he was running his mouth about how bad his marriage is.I listen every day and I record the show.I know some of you either quit,steal the show,or just get the information about the show on SFN but I get everything from the show.Sal said this and JD said this.I can't recall the exact date but your welcome to look it up....Sorry to you if i'm lame enough to listen to the show every single day and get all my facts correct.

I have always been a SJ fan for two main reasons...No one tortured Booey like John could...You could actually feel the misery from Booey especially when they busted Ma-Ma-Mokeys balls over how his wife used him and John was the King in his castle.....And John was not scared of Fred....I will never forget the whole Tony and Tina debacle when Howard was getting the staff to line up to make out with Alison's "Character" And when John showed up Norris went ballistic and into that whole "I'm a crazy bad-ass" Schtick. John told him "I'm not scared of you crazy man, Lets go outside and settle this right now" Fred STFU and and went quiet........I miss John!!!!

I was actually supporting your claim with items that can't be disputed. I have never stolen the show it's not worth the effort, I don't listen much any more but I listened for twenty years so there is much I do know. And JD has many times mentioned the shithole he lives in with a roommate, the long subway ride in to work etc. as well as all the money he's wasted on porn, he has no one to blame for his situation but himself. You don't mention when Sal made that statement but the last year they were at WXRK they did around 220 shows, the first year at Sirius around 180, this year they are down to 112, I doubt even Sirius is stupid enough to maintain people's salaries at the same level for half the work. With the limited schedule now any one of them that hasn't started pursuing outside work is simply lazy.

Billy West DID NOT LEAVE THE SHOW OVER MONEY.....He left because of the John Kricfalusi incident......The "Money" excuse is Hamptons covering his ass......Gotta' had it to Billy, He's been nothing but graceful about it...........

I will say this about the staff that everybody should feel comfortable about.Howard only works 2-3 times a week now.But the whole staff still works 5 days a week(Except Benji)..Richard and Sal only come up with bits and phoney phone calls and JD watches TV.They aren't really working for 2-3 days and get paid for 5.I really don't feel for those guys.

I always liked Stuttering John, am glad he's very successful, and hope it continues for him.

But if you read the book Born to Steal by Gary Weiss you will learn that John made lots of money from penny stock deals with the help of two friends who were mobbed up and heavily involved in one phoney pump and dump after another, all at the expense of suckers who trusted John's buddies with their savings and were fleeced. Steve Langford did a report on Born to Steal in which he interviewed Gary Weiss, focusing on the fact that John's mobbed-up stockbroker friend Marco Fiore who is now the exec. producer of the Gotti Jr. movie (Marco was John's roommate at the time of the penny stock deals) was convicted of securities fraud and served 4 years in the federal pen. John is associate producer of the Gotti movie (that seems to be flopping) but he is also the co-producer with Marco of a film to be called Mob Street, about the infiltration of Wall St. by the Mafia in the 90s. They should know all about that!

Man, I'd love if you could elaborate the Billy West story with John Kricfalusi. I started listening around 98 until they yanked him from New Orleans radio and basically resumed listening the day he came to Sirius. I'm pretty much unaware of anything Billy West other than Sirius replays.

Once he left the show HE FAILED and Howard went on to more success.
John on Tonite Show..FAILED No longer even shown on Tv and really has nothing to do with the show ie DIVORCED
Johns Movie...FAILED a whopping only 63 DVDS were sold across the USA. The lowest number out of any of those horrible National Lampoons movies that they make every week now.
And Finally The Divorce... His wife finally had it, He promised her she would be a star and he would be a star when he left the show NEVER happened. She wished he could go back to the one thing that made him a star but he ruined that too...but hey maybe he can make that movie with John Travalto..Oh wait Travalto is a little busy right now
But at least he has a couple fat 50 year old guys on SFN that will join in on his jealously of the KING OF ALL MEDIA Howard Stern..
