Hypocrite Howie re: Ronnies block party

Listening to the replay of Ronnies block party blowup, and Howard tells Scott:
"Listen, you get out of the house, you do nothing, and you get paid $2500 for doing nothing. I would be dancing naked in my bathroom, running around the house if someone gave me $2500 for doing nothing. You're worrying too much about what the rest are making. Even if they make a million dollars - you should be ecstatic to get $2500. I know I would be."
Did Howie forget about his lawsuit? You would think he would be "dancing in the bathroom naked" for getting the roiginal $300 million in his contract. But noooooooooo, that's not enough, right Howie? You just told Scott he should be happy with $2500. Shouldn't you just be happy as well?

No it's not. They both got what they were promised. They both want more. Howie ntold Scott to accept it and be happy with all of the money he's getting, while Hypocrite Howie sues his boss because he's not happy with what the contract promised him.

Howard wouldn't get on a bus and ride a block for $2500, he is a hypocrite. He does nothing on Thursdays and Fridays and dark Mondays and is off 12 weeks a year for $60 t0 $80 million a year.

Did you read the contract? If not, how do you know what he was promised?

Many many things have been overturned on appeal. THis most likely will and Stern will most likely at least get a chance to argue his point.

Even if a judge does not overturn it, it still has no corroloation to Scott the engineer. Howard was under the serious impression that he was owed this money, and if you read the lawsuit, you can at least understand where he would get it from. Even if in the end he is mistaken. Scott the engineer is a completely different story.

Scott also is "under the serious impression" that he deserves more money. It's the same thing.

But he was not promised it. Howard at least has his own interpretation in writing to give him that impression. Scott has nothing. THats why its apples and oranges

Howard wasn't promised it either. We could go back and forth all day. It's the same thing: They both think they deserve more than they are getting. No matter how you slice it. Yet, Hypocrite Howie tells Scott he should just be happy, while he assembles a team of lawyers to sue.

It isnt the same thing and you know it isnt. Not quite sure why you will not just agree and move on. Scott also does not think he deserves more. He said he was very satisfied with the check he got for the 4 california shows. Howard has a contract, Scott doesnt. THat alone is a huge difference you keep ignoring

Scott did not have a contract written promising him $10,000, he had an agreement to get $2500 so yes he should be happy with it. Howard's situation is different because he has $300m in a contract that he believes he lived up to and is owed. Very different and anyone would fight for it if they believed they put it in the contract and payday came. Imagine all the lvoed ones you could help with that cash, and the charities you culd support. It's not all about just hoarding the cash for yourself.

A written contract and a verbal contract are the same thing, in the eyes of the law. Meeting of the minds. Once again, no difference. It's the same thing. Why you won't admit it, I don't know.

I agree 100%. Howard thinks he is responsible for XM listeners just as Scott believes he is responsible for Block Party ticket sales. Same exact arguement.
