I like Ronnie and all, but I'm glad he was exposed.

Even though most of us probably already knew he had no real qualifications for security work. As someone that works in law enforcement and does executive protection as secondary employment from time to time, I always felt he was an insult to to world of executive protection, it's a joke to everyone who works hard and pays their dues in the field. He is just a character on the show and his job title is just head of security, from time to time on Howard TV, you can see the "real" bodyguards/security people in the halls. He got so defensive I think because he knows he has no business doing what he does and he does not want to be called out on it, he was given a cushy job that he didn't earn through experience and training, and he just wants to sit back and ride his career out without having his qualifications come into question. Since there are other security people in the halls, he has never been put in a position to where he has had to do anything. Anyway, I don't know where I'm going with this, I just wanted to rant for a second.

Ronnie eluded to the fact that he did something to save Howard or protect him. Does anyone know what that was?

Ronnie is a limo driver that organizes Howard's security force. Just about every off duty cop in big cities works a security job, so it's pretty fucking easy to find reliable people.

The guy's an old man who owns and runs a security business where he has lunkhead security guards working for him. What's so fucking hard to understand about that?

When there is no hooray involved the lunkheads do the work and when Ronnie gets to grab a little attention he puts himself out front. That's the benefit of being a boss and owner. 'MAYBE" one day you'll grow up, become an owner of a company yourself and realize that. But I doubt it.

Did anyone seriously think he had a real "security" role? He is a figurehead of security thanks to his long time loyalty to Howard. Maybe he is a buffer between Howard and the real guards. That's about it.

Ronnie kept running out of the studio because:
1) The FBI profiler knew more about the subject than he did.
2) He couldn't intimidate the FBI profiler by yelling at him and acting like a crazed imbecile.

I heard that segment again on a repeat and I liked it even more because Ronnie got exposed more than ever, and he's such a pussy he can't roll with the punches.

It all comes down, in my humble opinion, to the fact that he can't deal with one big inadequacy: he's very short. I've worked with short people before, and you can see that they try to compensate by being angry and aggressive and confrontational, because they're trying to prove all the time that they are tough and strong even if they're short.

I was thinking Dale Yeager is a new DB client. He may not be FBI but he has contracted to advise them. He also has a partner that is ex-Secret Service AND I think Dale is some form of martial arts uber-master. Next to Dale's "fat" resume, Mund is a silly little poser in a cheap suit.

I never thought I would find myself saying this, but I actually was on Ronnie's side today. This "profiler" Dean Yeager was so full of psycho babble bull shit, calling Ronnie unfit for the job because he does not carry tampons to protect Howard from assassination attempts, telling Howard he should not practice birth control, blaming it all on his OCD and obsessive tendencies. I was waiting for the punch line: that it was all a set up, an actor playing the role.

That's not why he said Ronnie was unfit for the job, it was a question he asked to Ronnie that the FBI guy claimed all in protection know. He said Ronnie was unfit because of how he handled himself and what a hot head he was.
