    Howard was talking about the Leno firings, and I was curious if it was a covert way of saying that Melendez was among the ones ousted. Doesn't look like it, but I happened to stumble on the official John Melendez site and ... wow. The press release alone for his album looks like it was written by a third grader.

    In one year with Leno, John made more than he would have made in 12 years at his old Howard/WXRK salary, he's been there 10 years now, even if he was laid off the income difference is astronomical.
