    That said, did you even read the link you posted? His Grandfather owned record labels and his Father was a Real Estate Developer. Not agent. DEVELOPER....... meaning he played w/ money. Dude could be the coolest guy in the world but he sure didn't pull him self up out of the gutter by his bootstraps.

    Evolved into what? Three hours of drivel..Apatow has point (I agree that his movies are a bit banal), but he recognizes bad media. When will Americans get tired of reality and talent shows..God I hate tv.

    I never said he pulled himself up from his bootstraps, but that doesn't define self-made. Howard's dad owned a recording studio...do you not consider him self made because he was exposed to radio more than most?

    I wouldn't mind it if the show were actually airing now. But I hear all these assholes talking about how great it is to be there and no one can really elaborate.

    I'll watch when the show finally comes on TV, but at the moment I don't understand what Howard's trying to sell to us.

    I am convinced that other than the AGT talk and guest interviews the rest of the show is already pre-scripted and put on a calendar. Every 6 months there is a cupcake Wednesday controversey, a bathroom/shit caper, Block party talk, etc
