Just Donated to NSAL..You should too

I donated just 100 bucks, but you don't need to even donate that much. Think about it you spend 100 bucks a month on cigarettes or mcdonalds (most of you are fat) So why not donate something to help out these poor dogs and cats? Some of the dogs they have there now were beaten and have no home to go to. If you have a dog or cat that lives with you take a look at them would you want someone beating them?
For once in your lives don't be a asshole..
Im not saying not to eat meat, eat meat its good for you. I love steak. I'm not a Sam Simon but I do love dogs and I feel bad for those animals...
I know most of you are unemployed or make very little money, most of you are in your 40s and 50s still living in your moms house but you could always ask mom for a couple extra bucks

And you would think they would be doing so much better when they pay their CEO almost as much as the President of the United States. Beth O. Stern ran a marathon, raising almost 300 grand and that didnt cover the CEO's pay. Your 100 bucks will surely help and go towards a good cause.

What does it mattrer who much the CEO makes? They help animals and they do a great thing for animals like finding them homes so I could give a shit if the CEO was the richest man in the world

What does it matter? Obviously you don't understand the concept of a non-profit organization. I'm on the board of directors and also the treasurer of a non-profit and we use very little of the money we make fundraising for overhead. In fact, the board members and officers do not get paid and many of us absorb our own personal expenses so that the non-profit doesn't have to spend funds on anything but the purpose for which it's intended. That being said, NSAL would require funds to maintain and staff the facility. If the president is so hard-pressed that he/she needs a salary to live on, then they should look around for someone else to run the thing. There's another very large non-profit in my area where the CEO is extremely wealthy and does not accept a stipend for her work. Aren't there lots of "extremely wealthy" people in the Hamptons, or am I thinking of a different Hamptons? Another thing: if you want to donate to an animal shelter, donate to your LOCAL animal shelter.

There are hundreds, probably thousands of animal charities that do much more good for animals than the NSAL. The NSAL is a thinly disguised party using animals as slaves to generate their money so they can hold red carpet events and squander money on ridiculous salaries.

Your $100 would have been much better spent and do more good at a real animal charity, one that puts animals first and doesn't worry about red carpet parties.

1. Nature decides which animals live and die. A starving dog wouldn't think twice about eating me if push came to shove.

2. Animals are not cute little cartoon characters. They are stupid and useless except for as food/hunting tools. They run on instinct, not feelings. They follow where their food is. They give less than a fuck about what anyone does for them unless it's feeding them.

My wife and I adopted a cat from them years ago, it was a positive experience. Regardless of what people says about upper management and BethO, the people that work there are good people and love animals.

I give all my money to Hospice. I want to be sure there's enough Morphine left for me. The animals are on their own.

When I could afford to I gave to charities that helped people, nothing against animals I just find it more important to help human beings. If you can afford to donate I would recommend St. Jude's
