IN PROGRESS Just Me addon

I am in the middle of several site addons which are not complete. Is you are wondering why I would work on several at once instead of finishing one before moving on, it's because I'm not that good. I get so far, can't figure it all out, and jump to something else. Eventually I approach it from another way or come across some code that turns a light on & I jumped back into it.

Today I was working on Just Me. You may or may not remember it from the old site but

• it allowed you to filter a forum / thread by just your threads / posts.
• Later I expanded it to allow you to do the same kind of filtering by any member and added a posters list to each thread so you could click anyone who posted in it & do the filter.
• Later without really making you guys aware I made it to I could filter them by groups of people. This would allow me to look at a thread w/ just the posts of 2 people as if nobody else posted in it.
• I don't remember if i ever made it so it would filter it down to just your friends but if I didn't, I meant to.

so far I made the Just me checkbox on the thread list page. if you open the "Thread Display Options" tab there's a new "Show Just Me" checkbox. clicking it & clicking "set options" will reload the current forum with just the threads you started. Since the search isn't working for pre-xen threads, it can be very helpful for you to find your old stuff. page navigation is working & you can adjust any of the other thread display options. As far as I can see it's working 100%.

It will actually let you filter the forum by any member. I just haven't made any sort of links to do that yet.

preliminary work has been done to let you filter by multiple users but it's not working yet.



I have not started working on threads yet but that's next. Since there's no "Display Options" drop down I'm not sure it will be as easy or even where I'll stick the checkbox. After I get threads working I'll start figuring out how to do the multiple user part of both. then if all goes well, the posters list.

BONUS
you may have noticed that there something else new on that options tab, "Per Page". this lets you change the # of threads that are displayed per page of the thread list. as far as I can see, it's working 100% as well. When I add Just Me to threads I will again add the Per Page dropdown. As I mentioned before, I don't know where to put it.
