    Moonie's drumming goes Bish!, Bash! and Crash! The guy wouldn't know a 5/4 paradiddle if his life depended on it, but he played from the heart and nothing else. I loved that guy more than any other musician. Just pure feelings and impulse.

    It's utterly pointless to compare him to more 'technical' players. Let's compare Chuck Berry to Ritchie Blackmore, or Ron Wood to Steve Vai, for all the sense that it makes. Fan opinions are really just "who's your favorite ______".

    Entwistle was quoted as saying that his bass style evolved by trying to play rhythm against Moon's avalanche of sound on stage.
