Yes, and he is surrounded by Leftists. I love to watch Mika's dad spew anti-Semitic foreign policy proposals.

No offense, but your entire style. and position mimics Fox to a tee. Complete with the whole "Programming Note" heading you've used on some of your threads.. And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the whole "Go" thing taken from some Fox commentator?

To the small box that Vacate lives in, if you don't advocate allowing and praise Israel in all things, you hate all jews and want to march them into ovens.

I have to say that while I may be a "liberal"...Olbermann took it new a new level..or lowered it..I never cared for him on MSNBC..except for the pic of limbaugh with the big cigar..always made me laugh..while I watch the Rachel Maddow Show.. I am sickened by the total lack of civility on any of these channels...it kinda stinks that there is no show or channel where people can have a rational discussion of the issues...just my opinion

Well, as I have said before I watch Fox News but I don't watch it enough to know if I "mimic Fox to a tee." I am not aware that they use the phrase "programming note" - that is something I remember from TV Guide back when it was what you'd go by to figure out what was on television. As for saying "Go" when challenging an assertion, that is something I got from work, not Fox News.

I must say, for those who accuse me and Conservatives in general of watching Fox News 24/7 and see that as a bad thing, those same people seem to know a hell of a lot about the programming on the network. I wonder why.

I have yet to see the guy interviewed where he agrees with a course of action that Israel has taken. This guy has it in for the Israelis, pure and simple - he might as well just come out like Helen Thomas did and give a full-throated condemnation of the state of Israel and call for it to be destroyed.
  14. VacateTheWord Full Member

No, but if you take the anti-Israeli side consistently what does that tell you?

FOX business has the best people as far as mainstream media goes. I watch MSNBC just to see what lies they are spreading. It was sickening to see Maddow praising Eric Holder during the Fast and Furious thing.

The thing about MSNBC that sets them apart from Fox and CNN is that they have opinion anchors on during the daytime hours which is supposed to be the hard news time. Also, they let their opinion people anchor election night coverage. Where you have Bret Baier and Wolf Blitzer anchoring election coverage on Fox and CNN, over at MSNBC you have Rachel Maddow anchoring the coverage. If Liberals can't see the difference in that then they have an irrational hatred of Fox News that distorts their perceptions.

MSNBC has Al Sharpton doing election coverage. That would be like FOX having David Duke on for election coverage. But MSNBC has this left protection.
  18. VacateTheWord Full Member

Yup - and they gave Sharpton an hour show where, these days, he is covering his own anti-Zimmerman rallies.

To me, what happened with MSNBC is that years ago the saw that Fox was giving a voice to Conservatives that was largely absent in the mainstream media so they figured they needed to be a "balance" to Fox. What I don't think they realized was that there was already a balance to Fox and that is the rest of the mainstream media and they have gone overboard as a result. One can do an hour-by-hour comparison and see that MSNBC is way more ideological than Fox is.

You do realize that almost half the population OF ISRAEL opposes Likud policies, right?
  20. Reverend Tyler Full Member

Not at all true. Fox and Friends vs Morning Joe. Seriously?
  21. jtheweirdo Full Member

    That he is against apartheid?
  22. mr wrong Full Member

Does that voice, and "balance" include mislabeling Republicans as Democrats when they were up to there usual shenanigans, and running with the "200 million dollar" a day India trip story?
  23. VacateTheWord Full Member

Are you seriously comparing the Palestinian situation to apartheid? Good Lord.

Yep...cuz fox is definitely "fair and balanced"...my suggestion to those who want to know about fox..read up on the founder Roger Ailes...he is the guy who takes the credit for teaching Richard Nixon how to use the mainstream media...in all fairness though he is also the one who canned Glenn "the world is ending and soon!!" Beck..so for all the liberal bias that is on MSNBC...there is just as much conservative bias on fox...

Is that all you have - some simple production errors and one story they got ahead of and had to retract?
