Lin is a good to very point guard. He has the ability sometimes to take over games, but he still has a lot of work to do. He isnt a bust. He isnt an All Star. He has the ability to be very good.

He's a good fit for that system, I dont get to watch many games but when i watch the highlights he looks like he has it down in that system, looks a lot better than Baron Davis does, like any rookie he will have trouble in the turn over department.

I do not disagree. I would put him though at closer to an all star then anything remotely close to a bust. He pretty much averages a double double every game. That is all star type numbers.

his biggest problem is his turnovers. He needs to work on that. To be an all star he really needs to cut back on those. Against the Heat its understandable but teams like the Cavs, the Nets, should not happen

Not too many first year players especially PG's can be all stars right away. To be a complete NBA point guard takes years, Lin has the basketball IQ to be a great PG.

Any rookie is going to have turnovers, its part of the learning curve.

Lin is a product of the system. When he has faced a good team (Heat) or elite PG (Williams/Rondo) he has gotten shutdown.

Knicks face good teams the next two weeks so lets see if they are the real deal.

If you think Lin is solely a product of the system, then you obviously have not been watching him. Has the system helped him and has he not benefitted from it? Of course! However the system has benefitted way more then Lin then vice versa and the fucking guy can clearly play. Put him on any team and he can fucking play and average a double double, or close to it.
