NY still just about a 500 ball club.

Yeah but at least they have a PG for that system finally, they were hurting for one since they acquired Amare. ESPN was talking about trading for Dwight Howard but they werent gonna announce it unless NY was interested ( NY doesnt want its players in trade rumors) but anyways those idiot sport guys at ESPN were saying Melo & Chandler for Howard.

So where would you rank Lin as a point guard in the league? Top 10? Top 15? He's an average point guard that had a great week.

Top 10 for sure, and only getting better. Guy has practically had a double double every game, that is not a "Great week"

Rose, Paul, Williams, Westbrook, Parker, Rondo, Nash, Wall, Jennings, Irving. I would take all of them over Lin.

Who cares who you would take. You have proven to know nothing. Getting that 76ers money is going to be the easiest money of my life. I should have made you bet more.

Lin and Davis combine for 7-23 from the field and 1-10 from three as the Mavs hold them to 85 points.

Looks like Wild was wrong again as the Knicks still have no PG.
  8. LONGBOARDER Full Member

Top ten? You're delusional. Who on ALC's list would you put him above? And if it wasn't just a Great Week what would you call it? A great career? He's played like an average point guard the last two weeks.

An average point guard scores 15 pts with almost 8 assists a game? Oh yeah, while only averaging 5 turnovers a game, which for him is substantially down.

Can always count on ALC to judge a team and a player based on a game, or a week. Oh yeah, except if it is his team. Then it does not work like that.

So if Wild was wrong, you must be back to being confident that the 76ers are going to run away with the division. Lets up the bet then. Wanna do $200, $300, $500? Come on. It is going to be easy $ for you. Throw out a number and its a bet!

Awnser the question. You said Lin was a top 10 PG in the NBA. Who would you take him over from ALC's list of ten better point guards? There's nothing wrong with being an average PG in the NBA.

top 10 PG ???? yeah he isnt...

everyone would so it's not saying much, lin has been playing well for a good while. But as a knick fan for many years ,i would be a fool to think he is going to carry the load. And i don't exspect him too. If lin and davis play well and melo can dish out a few passes , just maybe they will get a few playoff wins . JMO anyway atleast there competative and we can thank donny walsh for that .

Ohh I agree Lin has the Knicks playing better with him at PG then they did without him at PG. He's basically a rookie its not easy to carry a load like that when you are rookie, but thats they way that run and gun system works it starts at the PG position and ends at the PG position.
  18. LONGBOARDER Full Member

Kingofallwhites wouldn't. The list was made because he said that Lin was a top 10 pg.
  19. Pussah2 Full Member

They have hit a wall again since Melo came back.
  20. Douchebag_AZ Full Member

I dont know why that effects the team with the style of offense they run. Its all fast break points, pick and rolls and 3 point shots. Melo should easily make them better.
  21. Pussah2 Full Member

He has potential to be a top 10 point guard. he is a rookie. He definitely can play in this league and excel
  22. LONGBOARDER Full Member

Thats what I said. He's an average point guard in the NBA. Believe it or not, thats a great thing.

You can judge him in two games against Lakers and Mavs, but I can't judge him ok. Playing against another elite PG in Parker tonight lets see how he does.

76ers won't run away with the division because they suck too. Celtics are back on track and will win the division. If you want easy money take them +6.5 tonight as the line is a joke.

Parker drops 32 on Lin as Spurs blowout the Knicks.

Meanwhile bust Turner breaks out with 26 points and 9 rebounds as 76ers beat Celtics by 32 points.
