Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, there was "nothing". Less than an instant later, there was "everything". Over time, this "everything" accidentally transformed from very simple to incredibly complex...

and the secularists think the faithful believe in fairy tales. Carry on.

I do agree that any atheist/secular view that argues what you've stated is just as silly as what they are mocking.

What I would always point out to anyone thinking along those lines is that our best science paradigms thus far never rule out the existence of energy, even in the classic, big-bang with a t=0 beginning. It can be posited that energy is a meta-entity that subsumes and defines space-time in that everything else can only be described/formulated/quantified once energy begins to fluctuate so strictly speaking, it has always existed and can only transform. To argue that there can be truly be "nothing" is nonsensical.

Wow are you confused. You could try to learn about biogenesis, speciation and evolution if you choose....

This sounds as bad as Ann Coulter's babbling on evolution:

    Mind boggling stupidity....

I am off to study each of these (so I'll be less confused). If I might offer a suggestion for you ... Look into Socrates views on wisdom.

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, there was "nothing". Less than an instant later, there was "God". Over time, this "God" intelligently designed "everything" from the very simple to the incredibly complex...

I recognize Bill and Ted but don't remember the context of this scene. I was thinking more along the lines of
    The Apology.

All we are is dust in the wind dude......

Perhaps. I don't "know" - neither does anyone else. I "believe" otherwise.

My post is not related to that garbage you referred to.

I only critiqued the notion of "nothing", consistent with our science efforts, like Schrodinger's equation for example. Wave phenomena is energy fluctuation.

So don't address the fact that I pointed out your backward logic, just fall back on that brainwashed mentality.

I have no god and, more importantly,[IMG] neither do you.

It's easy to say you believe in the Bible when you don't actually read the crazy shit that's in it. Preachers pick and choose parts they like. All the sex stuff and unexplained incest is to be ignored. I'll entertain the idea of life on Mars billions of fucking ions ago before I'll slave to some crap a bunch of European medieval priests put together 2 G's ago. Lol it pisses me off

    . 1 Samuel 18:25-27
    ESV
Then Saul said, “Thus shall you say to David, ‘The king desires no bride-price except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, that he may be avenged of the king’s enemies.’” Now Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son-in-law. Before the time had expired, David arose and went, along with his men, and killed two hundred of the Philistines. And David brought their foreskins, which were given in full number to the king, that he might become the king’s son-in-law. And Saul gave him his daughter Michal for a wife.

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.

A single grain of rice has a more dynamic Genetic code than a human. It's more evolved, and has up to 63,000 strands of DNA opposed to our wimpy 30, to 40,000. I'd post a link but type humans, rice and DNA, you'll come across something. There is much more to this whole circus than Humans being the center of the universe that's for sure. We literally don't matter and I feel great about it :)
