I didn't even know they allowed white people to buy pitbulls.

you DO NOT need to get rid of the dog if you really don't want to. you need to get the dog properly trained and get a crate for it to stay in at night and when no one is home. you need to put in the time and effort to train the dog properly after it's initial professional training sessions.

if you are not willing to do these things then YES YOU NEED TO GET RID OF THE DOG.

I'd never do that to a dog, but we ended up putting her on a long chain in the back yard.

She was getting out at night (I didn't know she was doing this) and going into the next door neighbors house and sleeping with two small kids. The Mom was furious at me, so I ended up giving the dog away. After everything cooled off the neighbor and I talked. She told me her kids had been telling her about this dog that would sleep with them..but she thought her kids were making it up.

However if Sean Taylor had kept a pitbull in his house he would probably be alive today.

The shitty part was the dog was really nice...everyone knew her and would bring her home when she got out. She did like to chase the Mexican ladies that waited for the bus in front of my house. I found her in a Mexican neighborhood and I'm pretty sure she was mistreated.
