    It's not always antenna and placement that's the problem with signals. After trouble shooting (having two radios and antennas helps) turns out some so-called signal problems are actually hardware problems. So my recently replaced replacement goes back to XACT tomorrow.

    What's with all the extra lines on the map? A couple weeks back it was only 2, now there are 6 lines.

    The thickest lines point to the satellite's current position. The middle lines point to where the satellites will be in one hour. The thinnest lines point to where the satellites will be in two hours.

    I think I'm going to switch back to using my car antenna at home. I'm in the same boat as you and had to resort to using a pie tin to get a signal that lasted more than a few hours. It's been my experience that the weatherproof home antennas are crap. :btd:

    Today, while I was in Los Angeles from 2:30 to 3:30 I was getting aquiring signal the whole flippin time! I wanted to throw my sirius out the window! :pissed:
