legalize it for fuck sake. Sorry but the "downsides" of marijuana use don't seem to outweigh the murders, violence, smuggling, billions of dollars spent on border patrol and the "war on drugs" etc... Then you have the street level gangs and drug dealers who would all but be destroyed.

not to mention the medical benefits it can provide or the tax revenue that could be generated by the states and federal governments through regulation.

legalizing wouldn't necessarily make buying it cheaper, but you'd be allowed to grow it.

There was a story in our local paper today about how they are having to import judges from Michigan to help with the back log of cases in our federal court system. One of the reasons cited for the backlog: So many criminal cases resulting from drug interdiction efforts on I-40.
