This main event is a classic. Very good card overall. It's nice when they have more than 4-5 fights.

Frankie might be losing this fight....close

Great card again , i though frankie carried the fight and landed lots of shots . But ben was just to big and was in a good frame of mind . still it was close but i think frank did enough to keep his title . Rampage looked old and was winded early and has no ground game no matter what he thinks , bader is tough and should only improve . And man dose hunt have KO power , the heavy's will be KO city for a long time and i see hunt and JDS slugging it out someday soon. Ben and pettis 2 is going to be a sick fight , Can belive joe let that happen but thats MMA.

It is that time of the year again time for TUF. I think the show is great when there is great coaches. This season has Faber vs Cruz. I am a Faber fan and these guys are 1 and 1 so there is the tie break rematch after this season. I think the story that will have the most light on it is the fact on of the fighters is a gay porn star. His name is Dakota Cochrane pronounced cock-rain awesome porn name. I mean who wants to be beat by the gay guy? Well he says he is not gay but I dont care what anyone says you can fuck a million girls and be a player but the minute you suck a dick your a faggot.

It is called a Rubber Match, or a trilogy.... with Faber taking it. There wasn't enough on the line last time they fought. Faber didn't push it.

MMA fighters need to be given scores at the end of each round so they will know how they stand going into the final round in either a 5 or 3 round bout. Faber did not know that he was down on points against Cruz and therefore did not have the game plan of finishing him. It will go different next time. Faber will do what he has to do.

It is my understanding that fighters will need to fight in order to get into the house, which means that half will go home, possibly the gay ones.

It is live TV this season. You can't say that 'one of the fighters is gay' if the fighters haven't even been determined yet. Only half will be fighters on TUF.

Also, how do you know that he sucks dicks? TMI

except for the fact cruz is so fucking hard to chop on
    the dude is a freak
not the biggest fan of his but looking at it honestly cruz will out fight faber again

    Cruz will take it again.

Could anything you see during this season of TUF possibly change your mind?
Faber landed the harder hits in their second match. Why would you think things would change in part III?
Uriah will have a better game plan than in the last bout with Cruz.

    dont think anything will change
    including the outcome
    cruz will win another decision
  14. AlGreenDogg Full Member

    You don't know Urijah.
It wasn't 'do or die' before... this time it is. Faber has to finish him.
Maybe if you was from Sac-town you would get it.

I believe he put a beating on Jamie Varner, and he's no slouch.

He must bring more than just that. If that is what he is bringing, then he will be one of the forgotten like those guys from last season who were TKO victims of the Bantam and Featherweight TUF casts.

It is my guess that they won't have a Heavyweight or even Light heavyweight TUF again. It is too dangerous with that many pounds on each person. Welterweights and under are the only ones that can be handled if violence was to break out, as it always does in the house. Imagine a 270 lb dude taking down someone in the living room and they go through the wall.

There is the violent incident with Huerta [and he is small] in the parking lot of the club [not on TUF, but on TMZ], but he is gone from the UFC and is now drinking snake blood.
As I wrote this, Howard Stern just did his live TUF commercial.

Rampage said on twitter his next fight "will be his last in the ufc" He isn't retiring from fighting. He has "other things in mind"
  18. Kinisonfan Full Member

    Other things = money.
I thought his next fight would be his last in the UFC because he's washed up. Not the same fighter he used to be.

The state athletic commission would be irresponsible in licensing anyone [to fight] who comes into contact with HIV on a regular basis since MMA is a so-called 'blood-sport'.

A lot of quick stoppages, but it is just a TV show and not real UFC. The fights don't go on anyone's record, and the 5 minute limit makes sense in distinguishing these entry fights from real bouts. No one is supposed to get hurt trying to get into the house.

Dana White did show that he was unaware of an octagon rule during the timeout for the groin strike. He expressed surprise that neither corner was yelling out to their respective fighter how much time was left in the round.

After an illegal strike and fighters are in neutral corners, a corner team is not allowed to coach their fighter. Calling out the time could be seen as 'coaching' since there was less than a minute. If you did yell to your fighter that 'There is only 45 seconds to finish', then that could indeed be a type of cheating since words are encoded with messages.

Since I was the first to mention Ronda Rousey months ago and she is now the Bantamweight champ in SF, consider Russow as the next HW champ and/or #1 contender in the UFC. Ever since that comeback win over Duffee, he has been on his way to the top.

Werdum vs. Russow On Tap for UFC 147

UFC matchmaker Joe Silva has been busy locking down the big boys lately. The most recent heavyweight fight he’s put together is Fabricio Werdum vs. Mike Russow.

The two big men are expected to go head to head when the UFC returns to Brazil, likely in June. MMAWeekly.com confirmed the fight, first reported by MMAFighting, with independent sources.

Werdum (15-5-1) made his successful Octagon return at UFC 143 on Super Bowl weekend, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Roy Nelson.

He was 2-2 in his previous UFC stint, sent packing by current UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos. Werdum was 3-1 while fighting under the Strikeforce banner, losing only to then champion Alistair Overeem, but defeating former top heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko.

Russow (15-1) has been in the UFC for nearly three years, but has just four fights to his credit. Of course, he has won all four of those fights.

Having defeated John-Olav Einemo at UFC on Fox 2 in January, Russow will finally start stepping up the heavyweight ladder. Werdum will be a stern test for the Midwesterner, providing Russow an opportunity to launch himself into the ranks of title contender.

Anderson Silva is expected to defend his UFC middleweight title against Chael Sonnen in the main event when the promotion returns to Brazil, but thus far, a date and location have yet to be determined.

Yea because nobody saw Rousey beating Tate a mile away. Russow is good but he isnt HW champ material
    R.U. Stupid likes this.
  25. AlGreenDogg Full Member

Edited: 'Rousey' is not showing up in the search engine when I look for my old post. See next post below...

Is Dos Santos the only one who is HW champ material? I could say the same about Overeem that you say about Russow (i.e. that he is not HW champ material in UFC).

At least Russow has never been KO'd.... which places him above Overeem, Mir, Valasquez, etc..... in that regard.

He isn't a champ yet, but what do you base your assertion on? If I were to say that Overeem can't win, I would cite his many losses combined with the fact that he has never faced someone with the specific skills [boxing] of a Dos Santos. Dos Santos has never gone to the ground in the UFC and his only loss is an arm-lock long ago.

KOs add up. Decisions and submissions don't do harm to a fighter. Granted, some subs can break an arm or choke someone out, but for the most part the 'tap' works. The reason Hendo is still fighting at his age is because he has never been KO'd in a fight. He came close to getting choked out by Spider Silva, but he tapped at the last second.

A while ago, we were talking about the damage that Kongo may or may not have done to Cain in their bout. It still isn't clear which is the answer since a temple strike took out Valasquez in his Dos Santos bout, therefore his chin has not be tested a second time.

Mir has to try and KO Cain before Cain can strike, or he has to wait it out and circle away and look for a submission when the time is right. Mir has 5 TKO/KO losses and who knows how close a 6th one is?
