    Could Rnd3 be a 10-8 for Dolloway?
  2. AlGreenDogg Full Member

Damn! I called that 10-8 rnd.... one judge had it 30-26 (9+9+8).

KO of the Night honors shift to Roy Nelson

Cleaner than the Hardy strikes. Perfect one hitter plus a little extra. Who needs another kind of one hitter right now?

Hardy had to finish it, Nelson completed it instantly.

That Cain Velasquez fight was nasty!! Blood everywhere!!
  7. Fluffhead Full Member

I'm going to give myself a pat on the back for those picks.

    Nailed JDS and Cain.
Winner and technique for Struve and Miocic
    Only winner for Nelson
  8. Fluffhead Full Member

I'm for 3 and 5 round wars, but last night was a fucking exciting card to watch. Quick fights no bullshit.

How good did Texiara look? Easily puts himself in the top 10.
  9. AlGreenDogg Full Member

Being wrong about Cain and JDS is fine regarding my picks. Nice to be surprised.

Lesnar vs Dos Santos finally gonna happen?

Gotta admit Maz was a cool ref?
  10. AlGreenDogg Full Member

Yes, some bullshit.... and it was bright pink bullshit.

Tex is a strong 205, like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igor_Pokrajac who won at UFC FuelTV 3.

Kingsbury just has too much muscle packed on to his frame and it does him no good since it does not translate to a proper balance of strength and speed.

With Vitor out, Rich Franklin will now fight Wanderlei and Cung Le vs Patrick Cote
  12. AlGreenDogg Full Member

3 rounds of Tae Kwon Do exhibition from Cung Le. Cote still has a bad attitude from that Belcher loss (Cote says Belcher cheated).

You were correct about what Struve needed to do. His secret is out now though.

Bisping vs winner of Franklin/Axe? Bisping may want revenge on Wanderlei, but US vs UK works for Franklin.

    Jason Miller retires- http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mma-c...114145.html;_ylt=Aqnj1xK9UKEG6uMizWFvUj09Eo14

He was cut because he tried to wear a gas mask out on his entrance walk. Obviously a fighter going into the octagon can not be wearing any kind of breathing device on the way out to the checkpoint. It makes a mockery of the sport. He must have been huffing something.

I'm a big Struve fan. With his Dutch Kickboxing background, people forget he has great Jiu Jitsu skills.

I love watching Cung Le fight. I just wish he did it more often.

I'd love to see Bisping vs Franklin/Wandy. But I'm not sure Bisping would like that fight at this point. IF he beats Boetch, I'm sure he will want a shot at the belt.Or at the very least, a fight against the loser of Sonnen/Silva

Miller.....whatever. He said the mask was a show of support for the troops on Memorial day weekend. His stint in the UFC was sad. He looked out of shape for both fights. I'm the last guy to want to support Dana White, but his decision to cut Miller and not even want to talk about it is fine with me.

lawrance might have just won 5 grand for KO of the night .Dam sick head kick
    AlGreenDogg likes this.

I'd love to see Kampmann vs Condit.

A lot of talk about another comeback season of TUF. I'd be down for that.

Shitload of cards over the next 5 weeks. Getting closer to the end of Chael Sonnen!
  16. AlGreenDogg Full Member

Silva didn't accept the challenge, so therefore Sonnen won't be gone even with a loss next month.
UFC on FX this Friday- prelims on Fuel and one FB fight.
  17. Fluffhead Full Member

Nothing to do with any challenge. It will be tough for sonnen to get another title shot at 185 as long as Anderson is the champ. If he wins, Anderson would get a rematch. Maybe even an immediate rematch.

Pretty pumped for McCall and Johnson II. I became an instant fan of Uncle Creepy after their first fight.

Above link is of Urijah Faber on the Rogan podcast tonight. Pretty good stuff
  18. Fluffhead Full Member

I was really hoping Uncle Creepy would win last night. Johnson fought his ass off though.

Erik Silva looks like a future star.

Erik Silva, Texiara, Barao, Rory and Miocic are future stars growing with each UFC fight. Good times for MMA fans ahead

Man i have been waiting for josh neer to step up ,and last night showed it's not happening . He was pressuring pyle hard againt the ropes , and to get tagged comming out of the clinch . Nice KO for pyle he looked sharp and has some power . As for tuf brazil i've watched all of it and these guys are one emotional bunch . The house is funny and just like the US show lots of pranks and dislike for a few of the guys . After 11 shows it just gets better and the fights are dam good , i like it and hope they keep it up JMO .
  20. Fluffhead Full Member

I think TUF Brazil has been really good too. They have plans to do UK, Australia and maybe even India. I'm sure they will be back to Brazil based on the TV ratings down there.
  21. AlGreenDogg Full Member

I would think that TUF India would have to include Thailand as well in order to even get enough fighters to compete. India has something called the Super Fight League.

On February 27, the SFL announced that they had signed Todd Duffee, Trevor Prangley, Baga Agaev[8], Paul Kelly, Xavier Foupa-Pokam and Lena Ovchynnikova to four fight exclusive contracts.[9]

On July 5th, the SFL air their reality show, The Super Fighter. Similar to the the Ultimate Fighter, the show will take young up-and-coming Indian mixed martial artists, place them in the same house as each other. The show will go for 50 days and each week people will vote for who they want to see fight on a Friday night. The fighters will also be given tasks each week, as well as being trained by some of the best international trainers available. The winner will receive 20 lakhs ($36,127.23/£23422.70) and a 3-year contract worth 50 lakhs ($90318.08/£58556.75) with the SFL. It will air on Colors.

Back to UFC for LHW Beltran, he was previously cut after a HW loss to Lavar Johnson.

The SFL is trying like hell to make it. I just hope they are not throwing around money they will never have. A lot of promotions have failed by spending big money on fighters with name recognition.

I hope Beltran does well at LHW. Always been a fan of his fight style
  23. Fluffhead Full Member

AlGreenDogg did you check out Faber on the Rogan podcast? I think I like him more after hearing it. Seems like a cool dude. I still think he makes excuses for his losses, but I can forgive that haha
