You're obviously too young to remember the cold war, which was in full swing at the time. The moon landing was a big coup for the US, and a big propaganda coup demonstrating that the US was superior and more technologically advanced than the USSR.

The Moon is 384,403 kilometers (238,857 miles) distant from the Earth. theres no way back then they had enough fuel to make it to the moon. then they have another star trek type ship that lands on the moon?

Sorry, this just seems so basic that if you can't get over this point, you haven't looked into the real science at all.

Do you know what escape velocity is? Do you know how much more fuel is required after you reach that speed?

i believed it when i was 5. now as an adult it doesn't make sense. there's no way in 1969 we went to the moon. JFK said "before this decade is done we will put a man on the moon". they had no choice. along comes stanley kubrick with his hit movie 2001 a space odessey. watch that movie and notice the simularities.

One way to know for sure.... go back to the moon and find the lunar lander and flag. We should know where they are.

Well I've tried several times to get you to answer a question and you don't want to play that game, so perhaps you should stick to asteroids. Man, you really should read up a bit on the debunker sites or a real science book even. It's tough to take you serious when you embrace ignorance so tightly. Oh sure it was a fake, in fact all things in space were made in a hollywood backlot. Like the Space Station all a dream on a sound stage, shuttle never actually leaves the ground. And their are no satellites or the Hubble Space Telescope up there, all fake, all made up.

i remember bush saying we're goin to the moon again. why havnt we? we can't even land the shuttle without exploding. i dont think the the technology back then could go that far, drop a another spaceship, go back to that spaceship after there done and go 250,000 miles with no wear and tear on the spaceships. you think if they went that far 500,000 miles that could make it back through the atmosphere without exploding from the wear on the protectors they have that protect there insertion to the earth?
