Looks like we are going to the torunament then. What was your last predicition that was correct?

Oh yeah, I call BS on the 2nd half bet. You love announcing your "wins" after the fact.

Man, the bubble teams are really crappy this year. Always seems like there is a team or two every year that gets burned, but this year there is probably going to be 3-4 teams that really dont even have a good tourney profile making it just because the bubble field isnt really all that good.

They better go deep in the BE tourney.

Marquette was without three starters and there was a great middle opportunity.

UConn is on the bubble. They need a win tonight against Cuse.

If they can win 2 games before NY and then a game or 2 in NY, they can more then likely still get in and get to 20 wins.

Ultimately two CAA teams are getting in. If Drexel gets to the CAA Finals they should be fine. My bracket making isn't a projection rather a what would happen if the selection is today. George Mason and ODU would have to win the CAA's to get in. I think if we get a VCU/Drexel finals they'll both get in.

1's - Syracuse, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas
2's - Missouri, Michigan State, Ohio State, North Carolina
3's - Marquette, Georgetown, Baylor, Louisville
4's - Michigan, Wichita State, Murray State, Florida
5's - Indiana, Notre Dame, Florida State, Temple
6's - Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, UNLV, New Mexico
7's - Creighton, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Saint Mary's
8's - Kansas State, Purdue, Memphis, Virginia
9's - Saint Louis, Southern Miss, Cal, Iowa State
10's - Alabama, Cincinnati, UConn, Harvard
11's - BYU, Washington, Long Beach State, Drexel
12's - Miss State, Seton Hall, WVU, Texas, Arizona, St Joes
13's - Northwestern, VCU, Oral Roberts, Middle Tenn
14's - Iona, Belmont, Akron, Valparaiso
15's - Davidson, Nevada, Weber State, Bucknell
16's - Long Island, UNC-Ashville, UTA, Stony Brook, Savannah St, MV State

Last 4: Arizona, St Joes, Northwestern, VCU
Others: Colorado State, Xavier, Miami, Dayton, South Florida, Oregon, UCF, NC State, Wyoming

A Miami or South Florida win will get them as the last team in. Purdue went from a 10 to an 8. WVU went from a 10 to a 12. New Mexico isn't a bubble team, they're in safely. Harvard would have to win both IVY league games, then lose in the IVY tiebreaker game to have the only chance to qualify. Kansas State is also safely in, granted they win one of their last two games. NC State isn't even considered. Miami/NC State might be an elimination game Wednesday (if Miami loses to FSU).

Bubble is very soft. None of the 11 seeds and below are safe. My UConn Huskies are in danger, but they'll be fine with 2 more wins (9-9 in Big East or a Big East tourney win).

A team that is outside that I think could get to a Sweet 16 is Dayton. They can ball out.

UConn has the 29 RPI and 1 SOS. As of today, they're not even one of the last 8 teams in. They're okay.

USF beat Cincy.. but it was literally a terrible game.

UConn has two potential top 10 picks in Lamb and Drummond. They should have beat Cuse last night.

They pass the eye test and should be in.

I'd rather have a team that can take down a #1 seed like Syracuse than mid major lose to them by 20 points.

All of those teams have prior success in tournament or won their conference.

Rather see UConn than team like Northwestern or someone else that will be one and done.

Conference records mean very little in a large, unbalanced scheduled conference. UConn has played by far the hardest Big East schedule (why they're #1 SOS in the country). Look at South Florida's Big East schedule. They're not on TV, so they have a shit Big East schedule.

UConn went 9-9 in the Big East last year and won the national title.

No question UConn should be in the tournament as of today. You're picking the 34 best at large teams/profiles.
