Where did you list these stats? Frankly, most of your posts are a joke so it's hard to read through most of them.

Only Brees is an elite QB of that group.
  3. johnni44 Full Member

meanwhile the Ravens played all those powerhouses like
Tennesse, The Jets, St. Louis, Houston, Jacksonvilla, Arizona, Seattle, Cleveland twice, Indy and San Diego.

And your point was what, shithead???

If you are trying to make a point perhaps save us the time and use Google first shmuck.
  4. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Point is when 49ers faced good QB their defense was shit. Their numbers were inflated in the worse division in the NFL.

Ravens defense has consistently been in the Top 5 of the NFL.

Two weeks of shit talking. We will just go back and forth. I'll leave it as both teams got lucky and can't expect to win a SB with that type of performance yesterday.

Now who wants to bet on this game or is everybody a pussy?

Well I said this was an 8-8 team before the season so I was only off one game. :D
  7. johnni44 Full Member

you and me both. I tracked the season game by game and I was off by one game. I said this is a 7 to 8 win season with the devastating injuries they caught in pre-season. I never thought so few wins in this division would amount to anything. Really, what the real topic should be is the horrendous season the Eagles had. This should have been an easy year for them to win the East.

knocking off the 1 and 2 seeds MUST be luck, seriously does ALC even watch the fuckin games?

Just wait, the Pats fans within a week will say how Mannigham's catch was lucky and Eli's precise pass was lucky blah blah blah blah.

    Coming anytime now.
  12. sir1us Full Member

I really hope not, all the replays showed with clear evidence that both Manningham's feet were in bounds. I guess if the Giants are in the Super Bowl there has to be 1 miracle play, David Tyree and now Manningham. Fuck the Pats fans if they want to cry about it, let them soak their panties, the call was good, the pass was legit and Eli was a man not to be stopped. Like Tyree said about "Catch 42" he said "it wasn't luck, I was just a part of a divine moment"
  13. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Who is saying anything about luck?

Eli put the ball where only Manningham could catch it and he made a great play. Tyree play was lucky, but not this play. Eli's guys made big catches while Patriots dropped balls left and right which was the difference.
  14. johnni44 Full Member

So what exactly made the Tyree catch lucky? To me it's incredible athleticism but maybe you don't understand things like that??? Luck is fortune that goes your way without you having any input. Eli could have fallen down upon first contact or pulled a Bledsoe and gotten happy feet and thrown an int. No. Instead he flees the pocket and has the mind to buy more time so his receivers can get separation and the David does the rest. I fail to see an element of luck in amazing athletic feats.
  15. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Luck is the whole play. Eli escaping the pass rush then throwing up hail mary and Tyree catching it with his helmet. That wasn't the original play drawn up for sure.

If you want to know what luck is, look up the tuck play. You can argue all the Pats superbowls are luck as they happened after a giftwrapped call, and after they were using cameras to cheat.

No giftwrapped calls +No cameras=No pats superbowls

Ok. Now I know your 'criteria'. So basically every broken play that a QB improvises on is a 'lucky' play.

    ok.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- One area the New York Giants will have to shore up in the offseason for their title defense is tight end.
The Giants announced Tuesday that tight end Jake Ballard tore his left anterior cruciate ligament during the second half of Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday. Ballard underwent an MRI that revealed the results. Initially the team was hoping that Ballard had suffered a meniscus injury.

The Giants nearly had their entire tight end depth wiped out in their Super Bowl win over the Patriots. Tight end Travis Beckum tore his ACL during the first half of the 21-17 win. With Beckum and Ballard now looking at a long rehab that could have them starting the 2012 season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, the Giants are down to Bear Pascoe at tight end on the active roster. Christian Hopkins is a tight end on the practice squad as well.

Ballard, an undrafted free agent like Victor Cruz, had a breakout season in his second year replacing the departed Kevin Boss. Ballard had 38 catches for 604 yards and four touchdowns, but his season was slowed by a right PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) knee injury toward the end of the year. Ballard, who had several big catches this season including the game-winning touchdown in New England in early November, missed the last two games of the season but fought through the injury in the postseason before tearing his left ACL.
Beckum, a third-round pick in 2009, finished with five receptions for 93 yards, including a 67-yard touchdown catch against the Packers during the regular season.
Both Ballard and Beckum participated in Tuesday's parade down the Canyon of Heroes and the pep rally in New Jersey walking around on crutches.

I heard yesterday that it's usually an 8 month rehab. That puts them back in around November. That is provided they can operate within a month. Usually the swelling must subside before they can cut. They will certainly need a short term fix to start the season. Anyone know if Bavaro is still in shape?

Victor Cruz is my wifes new favourite player. For the draft they should be looking for a RB or TE. It might be slim pickings with the last pick.

Slim pickings? Look at Victor Cruz, guy was not even drafted. Plenty of solid picks available at the end of the 1st round and beyond.

Howard played this clip this morning...love it. :D
