So the Giants are better than GB and NE since they won, but Washington isn't better than NY even though they won twice. You can't have it both ways.

Giants were an underachieving team that did not play to their potential nor were they deserving of making the playoffs in early December. They turned their season around and proved what they are capable of doing. They beat teh pats twice this year. A game in September does not determine what you are in january. And there was a strike jackass which messed up teams offseasons and how they prepared for the season. Some teams got off to slow starts. Giants being one of them.

NY Giants are the World Champions. The Redskins, Packers, Patriots and the rest of the NFL are not.
That means the NY Giants are the best team in the NFL this season. The regular season is only played to see what teams are good enough to make it to the playoffs and the playoffs are played to see who is the best in the league. Who cares what happened in the regular season once the playoffs start.

Why is New England better than the Giants in your opinion? They were one of the weakest 13-3 teams I've ever seen. They had an awful defense and played a cupcake schedule and lost twice to the Giants.

Patriots were the softest 13-3 team in the NFL, pure and simple. Must have been tough preparing for the Colts this year. All this fool ALC has to rely on is the 2 losses to Washington, the first in week 1 when Eli was coming off a shit pre-season. look, here's the bottom line: Giants were down in the 4th, Eli makes all the plays to move the chains, run the clock, playing smart trying to keep Brady off the field, if they had to go for the FG as time expires, then fuck it let's do it, but there is no assurance that you'll make it (see Cundiff). Eli being the smart decision maker on the field knows the TD is better than a FG, runs the ball to Bradshaw and says "don't score" to wind down the clock even more, well Bradshaw's momentum takes him into the end zone, fuck it they got the 7 points anyway, why? BECAUSE ELI AND HIS WR'S MADE THE PLAYS. So then Brady has 57 seconds to go 80 yards to win, pretty intimidating with Brady and alot of time, but NOT to a solid Giants defense that ate him up. The Giants D knew what was at stake and much like their offense THEY MADE THE PLAYS THAT MATTER, the sack on Brady, and even if Branch and Hernandez made those catches they wouldn't get too many more YAC anyway, Pats needed a TD to win. Finally it all comes down to the hail mary in the end zone (which Eli made in GB don't forget) and what happens? We all saw, the great blocking by the Giants, a nice try by the Pats and that's it game is over, and whats the difference we learned? Giants made the plays when they needed to and the Pats didn't so you can take all your bullshit excuses and shove them right up your ass with your Brady jersey, Giants were the better team on sunday, plain and fucking simple, that's why THE GIANTS were holding the trophy.
