Yes, you are going off of what I post or don't post. I don't express my every thought of feeling about Obama here. When you post something in this forum it is like etching it in stone. I have very strong feelings about certain issues, mixed about others, dissapointment about some....I have posted my disappointed about certain things but I learned early on to be careful what and how you post here, and still people assume they know me. I post about what I feel like posting, I rarely start threads, it's just my style. Take it or leave it, I couldn't care less.

But this "perfectly logical rational", now with limitations I might add (which basically shoots the whole idea or "sentiment" straight to shit), is pure horse shit. It is not about Obama, it's about what you believe in. As I said, during the Bush years "Anybody but Bush" would have been absurd to me, and I wanted him out of office ASAP, but I wanted better for the country, not just anybody.

Whatever, it makes no difference, you will defend this "rational" as you call it (some would find you calling it a logical rational ironic, me included) to the end of time.....even tho you are already back peddling with "limitations".

And btw, who gives a shit if some of us on the left listen to Rush or Hannity et al sometimes? Not everyone on the left who voted for Obama did so because of the "hopey-changey thing." For most of us who were tired of 8 years of Bush, that was change enough. But hope means different things to different people. If Obama gave some hope to people who aspired to be treated equally, to get a better education, to move to a better station in life, or whatever would most inspire them, then his "hopey thing" has succeeded. And neither you, Sarah Palin, Noam Chomsky or even I, for that matter, can say that he failed. His "HOPE" may have inspired some child to be a future leader of this country, no matter their race or ethnicity, male or female, gay or straight, democrat, republican or some party we haven't heard of yet. It will take years before that child emerges as an adult and says they were inspired by the hope that Obama spoke of.

Yeah, what's you're point? Yes the left wanted Bush out, was thrilled he was going, but I never saw anyone even insinuate that anybody (meaning any warm body) would be better than Bush. Bush , imo, was bad, really bad but the biggest concern most of us had 4 years ago was Palin, not McCain, Palin. So no, we were not ABB. We were "Why Palin for the love of God?"
