Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.

next please explain to me how electrons opf an atom can at every point of its orbit of the nucleus at the same time while simultaneously not existing at all? Is it a particle or a wave or both or what? No copy/pasting please
  4. tumbleweeed Full Member

My theory is when they are non existent they are actually in one or many of the infinite dimensions and are what link the......feh never mind. I cant unnerstand how its a particle while its observed and a wave when its not. Fuck that so called Uncertainty Principle and this fuckin Relativity thingamajig which you speak of

It’s a particle that exists but vibrating so fast that your eyes cannot detect it.

Hey I see the "like" option but I cant find the " dislike cuz its a weak, glib, and totally inaccurate reply", option

It was the best bullshit I could think of, I don't know dick about atoms and electrons.

As you imply, an electron is neither a particle nor a wave, nor for that matter a thing at all. BUT, an electron can be characterized by both undularity and granularity. This is true of the processes of the human mind as well, by the way.

Its both particle and wave, and neither . And what Im believing, lately, is that the implications of all this shit is that EVERYTHING only exists in our minds......the implications of THAT are freakin me out, man!

They're like mulattoes, both black and white yet neither black nor white

I'm saying electrons are the mulattoes of the Physics world

I've heard that called "biocentrism" in physics, and it IS freaky, and just could be true.

Another freaky thing is that if the universe is really infinite, then there is a FAR greater likelihood that we live in someone else's virtual world than in an actual world. That's another fuckin' freaky thing.

And if we DO, then, like in some movie, our exploration of the universe would probably eventually bump up against some unexpected artificial limit - weird.

Not that any of this thinking will get a person anywhere in life :D
