What research, we've been over this before and you lose but you forget that you lost. Whatever Silverstein received, it's half of what he asked for. He sued the insurance companies to have the buildings treated as seperate attacks. Since part of your conspiracy has the government stealing trillions of dollars on 9/10 and since this it's impossible to work this without the insurance company involvement at some level, why did he lose. The money was there. Also, we went over the fact that the buildings were almost fully occupied in a striving downtown area before the attack. Why would he 1, jeopardize the culture of downtown by destryoing 2 profitable 110 buildings making it extremely hard to ever have create that atmosphere again, and 2 deal with NYC politics that was guarenteed to leave an unoccupied hole in the ground where you can't rent to anyone for at least 10 years. The whole Silverstein thing makes NO SENSE and it's one of the stupider pieces of your silly story.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Chertoff

Chertoff has been accused of bias in the 9/11: Debunking The Myths story by conspiracy theorists, who argue that he is the cousin of Department of Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff.[5][6][7] However, Chertoff has repeatedly both denied this claim and said " I don't know"[1], most notably in the September 11, 2006 issue of U.S. News and World Reports, stating "no one in my family has ever met anyone related to Michael Chertoff"[8] and in an audio interview where he notes any possible relationship would likely only be found back in "19th century Belarus."[

You fucking ignorant tool. So the greedy bastard "only" got half of what he was asking for. The fucker made 1.5 billion in three months.

You said he lost his case, moron. How good it must make you feel that you defend these greedy, treasonous criminals.
  4. Billyfromsphily Full Member

Oh look ! The leading internet economist has chimed in!

Care to challenge how it was profit and not reinbursment????

How about denying the Chertoff connection for your desperate partner?

Now fuck off and find some photo shopped pictures of Rosie to jerkoff to!

Who's defending him? I could give a shit about him; the point is if he was in on any conspiracy he would have been guarenteed a win. He sued for two events, he lost. You know why he lost, because there was NO CONSPIRACY. For a one time profit, he was ok with losing 10 years worth of rent on two 110 story buildings with an almost certainty that the atmosphere would never be what it was pre 9/11? Sorry, this is stupid.
  6. Stickman Full Member

    Investment: 3.5 bill
    Settlement: 5 bill

How stupid can you be to call that a loss?
  7. Billyfromsphily Full Member

Now you area commercial real estate expert? When does your bullshit stop? Give the sources and the exact details of the transactions please, because you don't know shit!
  8. artiel Full Member

I thought that this was a pretty well-established fact that he got more than his initial investment. You don't think that he should receive money from his insurance company for "potential income" do you? Because if not, he should have received the money he paid and the money he put into the buildings and that is it IMO.
  9. Billyfromsphily Full Member

If it was a 99 year lease, do you think he paid all the money up front?

Simple real estate this is not!
  10. Snoopyrules Full Member

But, if it was a conspiracy it would have been

    Investment: 3.5 bill
    Settlement Attack 1: 5 bill
    Settlement Attack 2: 5 bill

This is not what happened because there is no conspiracy.

BTW, Siliverstein currently pays $10 million per month to the Port Authority for the unoccupied terrorist attack created holes. That is $120 Million per year now multiply that by 10 years, than minus what he'll lose becuase he'll never get an occupancy rate in the high 90's again.....Do you see why this piece of the conspiracy is soooooo f-ing stupid.
  11. Stickman Full Member

Snoopy made the claim Silverstein lost his insurance case as some sort of debunking of "conspiracy theories."

A 1.5 billion dollar profit is not a loss, I don't care what Economics book or dictionary you look at, that aint no loss.

All this other shit is pure conjecture. The motherfucker is making money hand over fist.

Add economics to the list of things you know nothing about. Cost of property may have been 3.5B. However the cash he had in to the properties (including the cost of insurance) is also part of his investment. I don't know what those numbers are, and I am betting you don't either.
  13. FatesWebb Full Member

well he is still fighting for more to this day.... If he has his way he will get twice what he got.
  14. tourette_ticker Full Member

I provide comic relief because I tried arguing with these guys for a couple of months and it is apparent that the conspiracy people are not willing to bend from their religion. I spent time posting calculations that showed errors in their thinking and while they didn't even try to find any error in the calcs, they insisted they were wrong. So now I just point out bad science where I see it (on both sides of the argument) and toss in the occasional one liner.

    Thanks for the recognition! :D
  15. Billyfromsphily Full Member

Then show us how he maximizes profit from the loss and the remaining buildings in the deal?

Its not conjecture , its an area that you don't know shit about. Thats why car dealers like doing business with dopes like you!
  16. Billyfromsphily Full Member

Stickman thinks its like buying a car and all he can see is those hundred dollar bills.
  17. Snoopyrules Full Member

This is partly my point. If he was in on the conspiracy, he would have known ahead of time what he was getting paid. If you're going to jump on a plot to kill 3000 by allowing the goverment to destroy 2 almost completely occupied profitiable buidlings with little chance of ever having that sort of success again, you know exactly how much of the that 23 trillion you're getting. If you're a guy who lost 2 almost completely occupied profitiable buidlings with little chance of ever having that sort of success again because of a terrorist attack, you push to get as much back as you can because the future of that once profitable site is uncertain.

Sorry I didn't read the article for you, too.

It's not my fault you guys are too lazy to follow up on all of the articles and links I post.

I am convinced you read nothing, have no curiosity, no skepticism, nothing, like bleating sheep following the scent of anus in front of you.

Here it is again, learn something about this douchebag, Silverstein.

Tell us how to construct a commercial real estate deal asshole ! Your days of cut and paste are over ! Show us what you know or shut the fuck up!
  20. tourette_ticker Full Member

I HAVE read the article. Have you? It doesn't seem so. My post was about other expenses that would total his "investment". I didn't see anything there addressing that. Can you post the quote for me, or are you just trying to deceive people again?
  21. Snoopyrules Full Member

Maybe you should have posted this last year before groundbreaking and when this story was relevant
  22. Stickman Full Member

Did you read it all the way through?

"$5 billion in insurance money Silverstein was awarded after the Twin Towers collapsed"

Oh, my bad... Silverstein only had to put up 14 million of his own money.

Here's a nice long article for you to wade through. It should make you sick.

You guys have no idea what a scumbag you're defending here. Pathetic, really.

"His 99-year lease, for which Silverstein put up only $14 million of his own money"

  23. FatesWebb Full Member

that isn't true, your logic is flawed, you dont know enough about his claims obviously. his strategy from the get go is because there were 2 acts of terrorism (2 planes) that he could file 2 separate claims, one for each act, which actually works against you.... if he knew ahead of time he would have known this, and had his plan worked out ahead of time. how you going to spin that in your favor?

your saying A terrorist attack, while he says 2 different terrorist attacks and has from the get go.
  24. Billyfromsphily Full Member

So when you go to buy a house you will pay for all of it up front???

You fucking idiot, you can't explain how a commercial real estate deal is put together and you wouldn't understand it if it was spoon fed to you!

If your sick because of what you read, then I suggest you go to college and get a 4 year degree and start your own business because there are a hundred thousand guys like Silverman out there and they are doing deals with the money you think is growing in your stupid little 1.4 percent annual passbook. If they weren't you would be living in a hole in the ground. Now shut the fuck up!

Yes I did, did you? I notice you couldn't post the info I asked you for. Wonder why? Maybe the article didn't say what you claimed it did. Shocking.

And for the record, I am not defending him. I am pointing out the errors in your attempt at logic.
