    * Lowest increase in jobs since October.
    * Well below what is needed to keep up with population growth, let alone provide a sustained economic recovery.
    * Data reveals a sustained increase in people giving up looking for work.

He's not a miracle worker, yet what he's accomplished with the economy and foreign policy in three years is not only impressive, nearly assures him re-election.

Deal with it righties, it's inevitable, certainly considering the doofi you guys put up.

The unemployment rate has dropped 2% in the last two years, that's alot of jobs. My question is, isn't a hiring boom like that usually very noticeable?
  7. VacateTheWord Full Member

It isn't if the workforce has been shrinking during that time which is the case.

The reality is certain industries are thriving (IT, Digital Media, Finance) and others are sucking wind. Admin jobs, low skill labor, and many backoffice jobs that are redundant and not critical.

The lesson here is you need real marketable skills, not degrees in bullshit. These kids are surprised when they study to be social workers and get a job making $33k a year. Or teaching degrees and there are no jobs to be found. I have 15 open spots in my firm, with salaries that start at 100k. I can't find people, so I have to bring on H1Bs from India. And then these OWS cum rags protest that there are no jobs. No. They are lazy and have complete bullshit degrees.

He prolonged the recession with poor policies that proved to exacerbate, rather than improve, the situation. He really fucked up when it came to the mortgage and real estate industries, thinking you keep deadbeats in their homes to 'help them', but it never works. All it did was put off the inevitable when they should have let the market run its course. Now we're deeper in debt and still in a recession. The Fed has kept rates too low and for too long, now inflation is taking food off the tables of Americans and costing us at the gas pump because of the weakened dollar. Let's see you blame that one on Bush.

I'm curious to know how many jobs Bush created in the same point
    Of his presidency.
I tried to find it but had some trouble on my phone.

Why can't you or don't hire and train an American worker at a Training wage until they can develop the skills that you require???

The percentage of people in the workforce shrank from about 65% to about 63% and that the real unemployment number is 10.9%.

So now its "only". Keep moving those goalposts. Maybe you would like it better if we went back to when we were LOSING that many jobs a month.

Gee Mr President I'm sorry you were handed the keys to a car speeding down hill with no brakes but I really have a problem with after you got it turned around and going in the right way back up the side of the cliff you arent driving it at 100 miles an hour every minute of every day.

That's why Presidents aren't given 8 year terms.

Because American workers don't take training wages when there is unemployment to collect.

It's like they just can't help themselves when they keep blaming Bush...

Yes because when they wrote the Constitution the unemployment rate in 2012 was really what they were thinking about.

Prove something in that statement that isn't true and then get back to me brain trust. If we were losing jobs then it would be one thing but if we are adding jobs every month and all you can bitch about is its not enough for you then your just full of shit. If it was 250K you would still whine and bitch. But don't worry. The way things are going with the traveling circus that the RNC has turned into will get to bitch about the Obama job growth rate until late 2016.

Prove Obama has done anything to aid our situation since in office, then get back to me, brain trust.

We all know these things go in cycles... it's be nice if we had an executive that would aid businesses in creating jobs, instead of threatening and taxing...

Since you still don't get it, just blame Bush...
  20. walygatr Full Member

They had no term limits when they wrote the constitution. Remember FDR?
  21. WillowGlen Full Member

Different subject. It was always 4 years not 8 which. How many 4's is a different argument.
  22. walygatr Full Member

Why 4 years then when it might not be enough time to fix the last guys mess? People want immediate results. Seems unfair.
  23. VacateTheWord Full Member

President Bush has been out of office for over 3 years - enough with bringing his name up, please.

Keep the focus on the failure who is currently in the White House.

Cause his whole story is complete bullshit. The kid sits with his thumb up his ass in a back office at daddy's company all day posting on SFN.
