I think if Werth stays healthy he can be a 30/30 type of player. Though it would be nice to have a decent option behind him in Sheffield. Read some reports lately and it doesn't look like they will sign him anyway.

I hope so - since he's a starter on my fantasy team

can't wait for season to start - so we can all stop second guessing and start to watch all of this unfold!

Werth didn't play the first couple of games and already has 6 HR this spring.

My lineup would be: Rollins, Victorino, Utley, Howard, Werth, Ibanez, Feliz, and Ruiz.

Jaime Moyer got rocked by the Nats today! 9 earned runs........OUCH!

Just as the break camp too!

Look on the bright side Howard, Feliz, and Stairs went deep.

Can't expect Moyer to be as good as last year and he goes through stretches where he gets rocked.

MLB tonight did a small spot on Moyer today - saying how his changeup is still a little strong - but once the season starts he'll adjust that

its like his 50th year of spring trainning - tough to get up for some of these - even if its the last start of the preseason

You know he will hit 5 HR off the Phillies and King thinks Minaya is a genius.

They really need to get a right handed bat for the bench. I heard they wanted Andruw Jones, but the Rangers didn't release him. They need to look for someone that can actually still hit which Sheffield and Jones haven't shown lately.

I cant wait for tomorrow nights game! Hopefully Myers can pitch well and the bats come to life.

Hamels got rocked in the first inning as Burrell took him deep. Settled down though, but still doesn't look like the same dominate pitcher.

They always play like shit in the first month and Lowe dominates the Phillies so Myers will need to be on his game tomorrow night.

Myers is a great adrenaline pitcher

its finally here..opening day....I could barely sleep last night but the 10 yuenglings helped I think...headed down at 1 pm and have a huge tailgate going...going to head int the park at 6:45 so we are ready to go when the pre game stuff starts so we have one last chance to relive last year and then it begins anew....a bit worried about Cole but its early and we need him for the year not this month..I hope the Phils win but I having a bad feeling about tonight to much hype and excitement and the braves are playing with a bit more anger...lets hope...GO PHILS!!!

Lowe owns the Phillies and the Braves have good numbers vs. Myers so I have a feeling they do lose. They always get off to slow starts, but maybe this year is different.
