Official 2012 NY Mets Thread

Isn't it ironic that comment comes from the guy who proclaims the Patriots champs after 1 win against a weak opponent and the Phillies WS champs with the "greatest rotation ever" in preseason?

Wright will be out 3-4 months with a pinky jam IMO
  3. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

When did I say either one of those?
  4. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Downfall already starts with Wright getting hurt.

Mutts do this every year play competitive the first half then fall out of competition. They will end up in last place like expected.
  5. sir1us Full Member

Once again this Mets will come in last crap when the Mets haven't come in last since 2003. 2006 they never relinquished 1st place. Nobody knows the status of Wright and we know loser Phillies fans want him hurt so he doesn't play in Philly, funny thing is right now the Mets are playing better baseball than the Phillies in every facet of the game. Owned by the Pirates, ouch.

David Wright would put up Cabrera numbers if he wasn't always hurt....thats too bad....
  7. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Let's not get crazy as Cabrera is a legit MVP candidate.

Mutts showing their true colors as their about to get shutout by a couple of bum pitchers.

Let's judge the season the based on five games. This isn't football where every game matters.

Owned by the Pirates when they could have easily swept as they lost on two walkoffs. Have your fun now because it won't last.

We are having fun now, because we know it will not last. You do not need to be a baseball expert to know that and all of our posts predict it.

However, tonight was not fun, but it was due to happen. Should be a great game tomorrow. Sexy pitching matchup

Mutts and Knicks both blown out so its back to normal for them.

Nothing that you say has any meaning as you know nothing. Your predictions prove it.

Can't win them all, you as a Phillies fan should know that. Not having Wright and Davis in the lineup hurts the offense, another thing you should know as a Phillies fan when you don't have Utley and Howard. No shit a winning streak won't last, we're not all as dumb as Phillies fans here.
  13. sir1us Full Member

Strausburg vs. Santana today, should be a hell of a matchup.
  14. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

So what's bet the Mutts won't finish in last?
  15. sir1us Full Member

ugh, possible 2 game losing streak going into that worthless stinking shithole known as Philadelphia.
  16. sir1us Full Member

Worry about your own shitty team. You're in here more than the Phillies thread....that you created, fuck off already. We know you're still upset about your precious Patriots getting fucked over by the refs and letting the Giants win the Super Bowl. Patriots and Phillies fan, doesn't really get any gayer than that.

making the Phils our bitches this weekend
  18. fathead3381 Full Member

The Phils are in real trouble. If their fans don't see that, they're blind. Im not willing to say the Mets will end up with a better record than them, but the Phillies have NO offense. Utley is probably never going to be healthy long-term, or all that effective once he does get back on the field. Sure, Howard will help when he comes back, but he isnt the .300/50HR guy he was a few years ago. They can pitch, but they have always had the threat of a great lineup, and right now they are terrible. Only the Pirates have scored less runs that the Phillies in all of baseball. Doesn't matter how great your pitching is if you cant score runs.

Bay proves maybe he is not completely worthless every game with the rob of Jack Wilson.

Ike with a huge 3 run homer!
  23. sir1us Full Member

Jason Bay........................FINALLY!!!! Been waiting on this guy to have a night like last night since he got here, now if only he can keep it up. Another solid win for the Mets, let's make it 2 tonight with Santana on the mound. I worry that whenever Santana gets on the mound the offense is non-exsistant after a big game of production the night before.
  24. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Bay back to his choke self and look who has the same amount of wins as the Mutts.

    Where are the diehards now?
