***Official 2012 Still Best Rotation in Baseball Phillies Thread***

I stopped watching after Bay HR as I knew they wouldn't score 4 runs against Dickey as they never hit him. Phillies starters always have bad first innings as I'd like to know their team era after the first. Looks like they got alot of hits, but no big hits.

They destroyed Niese in Philly last year so hopefully that trend continues.

Get double play then throw fastball right down the middle. Game over.

Pitchers know they have to be perfect and their getting behind hitters in the count.

I'd say the Mets are doing pretty well against the "greatest rotation ever" wouldn't you say? How about that David Wright, 1 pitch back in the lineup and knocks it out, can't ask for anything more.

Great game shit I could throw a shutout against these bums. Take away the 3-4 hitters out of any lineup and you will struggle. I just hope by the AS break they are within 5 games of the division.

Mets own Hamels so thats another loss tomorrow.

Bad enough we're missing our 3 and 4 hitter,but why compound it but switching everyone else in the lineup.Rollins,Polanco,Pence,Thome or whoever is at 1st,Victorino,Mayberry,Ruiz,Galvis.
And someone tell Pence he doesn't have to swing at the 1st pitch.

Its Pierre/Thome vs. righties then Wiggington/Mayberry vs. lefties. He has to use matchups with these bums.

I like Rollins in the 3 hole and Pence is the only guy getting extra base hits.

They are going to be a .500 team till Utley/Howard comeback and everybody knew that.

Ok, so to say he was good would be generous, he was descent at best.

-He looked awful, still in the 300 lb category, wearing a free DIY (Do it yourself) network fleece and really shitty Nike sneakers.
-His eyes were very glassy and he was unshaven
-Gun to my head, he is still on drugs
-Happy at least it was all new material, nothing I had heard the previous 10+ times I have seen Artie. Was not awful, was entertained but not as good as the 5 other, lesser name comedians who were there.
-Lots of heroin jokes which I would not recommend. Since most people do not do H, they do not relate to it and do not find it funny. If you are not a Stern fan, you do not even know he was a H addict, so might not get it.

He did about 10 minutes, while the other comedians did a good 12-15 minutes. Not sure why he cut it short. I did not have high expectations for it, so it lived up to my expecatations but could have been alot better. Glad to see him out and about though as I do wish him nothing but the best. Guy gave us so many great years of entertainment as anybody who wishes otherwise is a douche.

Nobody is relying on Utley, but he is a big upgrade over Galvis and Orr. Its more Howard back as they have no power threat. They are outhitting the Mutts, but only getting singles.

I always said Manuel is a horrible x and o manager. Only good was he got them to play hard everyday which it seems they are are tuning him out lately.

Mutts aren't a bad team, but they will still finish in last place due to the NL East being one of the best divisions.

Hamels had a bad first inning like Lee and it will cost them the game. Pitchers know they have to be perfect so they are pressing.
