I didn't expect them to hit Cain so no surprise there, but they wasted one of the best performances in recent memory with 10 shutout innings by Lee. Thome stroke out swinging at garbage and Wigginton blew another game as they had an easy double play to get out of the inning. Now they go to the hardest park to hit in the majors so I'll be happy if they split the series.

Phillies suck so bad their starters have thrown 17 scoreless innings the last two games. Worley with a career high 11K including a nasty curve to end his night against Kotsay. Offense only two runs, but it was enough as Pierre gave them a spark in the lineup.

yea but will Howard even be back at all this year? and if he does come back how effective will he be? an injury prone 32 year old who hasn't ran since february when he had surgery, hm I wouldn't rely on just Ryan Howard for offense.
