I think it originates from the same place as mine.
People being known for no reason.
With no discernible talent.
And for de-balling Howard.

It is not so much luke warm as it is luke who the fuck is this broad.

I think you're definitely on-point with those tips... Beth does most, if not all of those habits.


After her appearance tonight, I have a different outlook on her:

When everyone says that she's beautiful and sweet, caring, etc... I believe that she is. But I also think that they say those things as a confidence booster for her. It's like when you know someone with a deficiency or defect or shortcoming, but you always try to say positive things about them and protect them, so they won't get hurt....

I just think that's she's been raised in a "perfect," sheltered environment with limited exposure to a lot of things most of us have been exposed to. Her mother got her into modeling at age 9!!! You can imagine what kind of parents she had.

She just seems very naive, shy, spoiled, and sheltered... basically the total opposite of what the average Stern fan would be able to relate to.

But I do think that she would be whiny and manipulative with Howard, at home... but what woman isn't ?!? (I know there are some that aren't, and I need to find one to marry! )

I thought she was delightful. Odd that Dave went so easy on her. I guess he knows better.

I think the whole book was written just to get this one appearance.
To Howard, if you get on Letterman you are A-list. It doesn't matter if he is the reason you got on.

OOfa! She was shitting bricks she was so nervous. She looked great, but she needs to relax, take a deep breath and slow it down.

Wow. That was...well, I bailed after the "we met at a dinner party thanks to YOU Dave!" scripted response.

Her delivery was stilted. And I always thought a spokesperson really should be able to speak as an adult. Silly fucking me.

She's unattractively thin too. Cameras add the appearance of weight so for her to look that thin means she's knocking on the door of sickly skinny. And still, when she smiles, her eyes convey no sense of life.

They're there for celebrities. Even celebrities selling books. But a nobody selling a book married to a celebrity who was a former household name (a decade ago) isn't going to interest an audience. It them comes down to how interesting/funny the nobody guest is.

Unfortunatly for them it's beth.

I thought she did well, but a few things were odd.
Wasn't the pool story 3 years ago?
Would an oral surgeon place broken teeth into a persons mouth so they could play basketball?
The doorman heard Howard on his morning television show?
11 years?

In my opinion, she came off way out of her league. But in fairness, she should because--she is.

Secondly, I've been searching for "Howard Stern" on YouTube to find the video, and this one was nowhere to be found.

Perhaps Beth is establishing her own identity.

She looked great, but she looked so nervous she was shaking and it all came across a little uncomfortable.
