I will either not vote or vote for Obama as a protest vote.
What is Romney going to do defferent, he is just Obama Lite regardless of what the Republisheep say.

I'm not entirely happy with Obama but I can't remember a president in which I was.

I think Romney would be worse than Obama. It's a shame the GOP couldn't some up with better candidate. I've voted R, D and I for president depending on the person.

I like some of what RP stands for but he'll never be president.

Exactly, Obama blows money one way on handouts, Romney the businessman will waste it another.

If Romney was to win can't you already picture the scandals? Millions of $ just disappearing from government projects "operated" by his buds. They'll call it "mismanaged funds" and prosecute nobody. He'll say anything if it means he'll pull this thing off.

Plus let's not forget the irony of you voting for Obama as a protest vote. Lol things in the Republican party are looking ugly.

We have to do something to get a good candidate on the Republican ticket.
Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney or anyone from this years primary are a joke. the are all the same thing just with an "R" in front of their names. As long as there are Rebublisheep like Zimmie, NCCocksucker Vacate etc etc etc nothing will change.

write in RP is all we can do man, it's the only way they'll notice

One of the main reasons I want Paul is because you hear Romney and Obama always talking about creating more laws. Paul is the only one saying he wants to repeal 40,000 Laws. I read that every American could be guilty of at least 3 federal crimes without even knowing it. Some people say it doesn't matter since those laws are almost never enforced but that makes it worse because it shows that they only selectively enforce those laws. The police aren't going around measuring every ones grass or measuring how far they parked away from the curb but if you make the wrong enemy for whatever reason they could get you for all kinds of violations. Too many nonsense laws and Paul wants to end the nonsense.

I recall being happy with Clinton, and George W, but only in his first term really. People forget that when we went to Iraq & Afghanistan it was a pretty popular thing to do... the problem is that people have short memories and once fire off a few missiles everyone wants out.

I'm going to disagree with your assessment of Romney here. I can't see any evidence to suggest this would happen.

Ok, but who would you like to have seen? Ron Paul isn't an option, he's like the 2000 year old man at this point (and he wouldn't do a great job of changing some people's minds that the Republican party consists of whackos). Guys like Rubio, Christie, Paul Ryan are all interesting but young and could stand a few more years of vetting. Jeb Bush has great potential but baggage from his last name. Gary Johnson is a great choice with zero support from the populace.

Why wouldn't Obama lite be better?

I disagree that Ron Paul is seen in the same light as the Repub whack jobs you're thinking of. He's paid his dues and has made it clear he's not like them. The fact that he's as old as he is with a clean political record is his platform. Ron Paul is not for sale. Very rare in politics.

Romney has no platform except "I'm not Obama". It got him this far talking that polital jargon what people want to hear game but he won't win. And when it's over he won't have even said anything important or moving. He's just simply "there".

I said the scandal thing because he vibes me like a businessman that can talk, not as a charazmatic politician. I don't believe rich people should be taxed more than common people, or be guilty of being rich, but he is a money man. I see "interests first" when I see him talk.

Interesting poll so far. Similar to George HW Bush VS. Clinton VS. Ross Perot with Perot as the spoiler. I wonder if Paul goes independent or if enough people doing a write in if it will have any effect on the outcome? Will be interesting either way.

I also remember Barbara Streisand saying if Bush wins she would leave the country. The cunt never left. Now Ted Nugent is the new Streisand. :jj:
