Spoiler alert for tonights TNA LOCK DOWN PPV!!!

I've gotten it from good authority that in keeping with recent TNA main event PPV matches, there WILL be a run in tonight and this man will win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, turning the industry on it's ear...

I hope I didn't ruin it for anyone... Enjoy the show...It actually looks like a good card and the crowd in Nashville has to be better than a typical Impact Zone audience...:hpbeer:

Good match and ending from Kurt and Hardy.. Fucking hits a swanton from top of cage DAM!!
  10. Pussah2 Full Member

overall a good ppv. and an ending without a screwjob. holy crap.

I loved the match as both guys worked their asses off...And the swanton from the top of the cage was pretty damn impressive...

As for the Roode / Storm match, it didn't really do much for me...I think they made a mistake having Roode dominate for so long early on...Yes, beating on Storm for awhile to then see him come back is oftentimes how they build these, especially in a guys home town. But for some reason, I thought this match fell flat even though both guys worked hard.

The ending wasn't as bad as a normal TNA PPV ending and it continued to build the storyline regarding Roodes character, so in that respect I think it helped Roode without hurting Storm...

All in all, not the worst PPV I've ever seen...

WWE announced that Wrestlemania 28 garnered "1.3 million pay-per-view buys with global gross sales in excess of $67 million including the live event" on their website, following on The Rock's comment on Twitter that the PPV event had broken worldwide PPV records.

WWE's previous record was Wrestlemania 23, which garnered 1,118,000 buys. That event was headlined by Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena as well as the Donald Trump-Vince McMahon hair vs. hair stipulation for Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga.

reports saying the WWE has edited a lot of the crowd tonight.. If so fuck them.. Sometimes that's what makes a shit show worth watching..

good crowd glad the chants weren't as edited as ppl were saying.. Henry v Punk was good.. Chicago street fight sounds good to me..
Brock's promo made me laugh... Like how WWE at least lets one guy basically say fuck u to the twitter crowd..
Lord Albert in the main event... UGH Maybe he'll get over with me in time but for now, no..

RAW was decent but far from memorable...

    The good?
    • Daniel Bryan just gets better and better! Not only was the match with Kofi terrific, but he's working "Yes" into more than just a flash in the pan. Gotta love watching this guy develop into the total package (ring work and mic).
    • Punk / Henry was very good. I'm liking the Jericho / Punk angle much more now than I did before WM.
    • The crowd was great! Not "Miami RAW great", but a good, hot crowd.

    The bad?
    • I can understand Cena jobbing, but to Tensai? They can try and push Albert to the moon but he's never going to get over. In this case, once a mid carder, always a mid carder.
    • The US Title match was ok and at least the title was defended, but Otunga is so incredibly bad in ring.
    • I personally didn't care very much for the Brock interview. he came off looking stupid trying to sell his return with such a high level of seriousness. Instead of an interview mic, the guy should go find a gym and fast!
    The ugly?
    • Nice work burying the tag champs even deeper (if that was even possible) by having them job to Show and Kahli. WTF? I know the tag titles mean little in the WWE, but couldn't you have thrown a couple of enhancement talents in there for that crap?
    • R Truth segments with Teddy were incredibly bad.
    • Hornswaggle?
    • All these stupid filler segments then cause Dolph Ziggler to have a 30 second match tonight? I know they're leading up to Ziggler moving away from Vicki and Swagger, but what a slap in the face to Ziggler, who if used properly has huge main event potential.
Again, it was ok but nothing special...

I thought the Lesnar part was good for what they seem to be going for, an opposite from Dwayne.. No pandering/catch phrases/ twitter.. Just an ass kicker..
