I read that Cena was leaving for 2 months and returning for the 1st three hour Raw in July?
  3. bigben07 Full Member

this just means more Johnny Ace shoved down our throats plus more annoying Micheal Cole

The WWE has pulled this crap for some time now with these secondary PPVs.

Build up one or two matches to sell it and hastily put together the rest of the card at the last minute like it was an episode of RAW.

Sure the Punk / Bryan match was terrific, the fatal 4 way for the WHC was pretty good and even the tag match, battle royal and Intercontinental matches were decent, but this is a frickin' PPV boys!

I mean not only was the mean abortion, but who the hell didn't see that angle coming from a mile away?

To make matters worse you put not one nut two unannounced squashes as fillers???

Yeah, I'm sure Ryback will now get over because you threw him into a match with enhancement talent at a PPV.

The WWE back in the day did mid card booking pretty well and it helped develop talent who then became m.e. players...Not anymore...

Punk vs Bryan was fantastic. The 4 way was really good. Tag match was good...shame what they're doing with Ziggler, the same thing can be said for Cody Rhodes. Nice to see Christian back, liked that Tyson Kidd got to shine a bit in the battle royal. The Divas match was ok but they can do better. The main event and the rest were crap.

Fuck is this opening awful.. I can't stand Cena..
  7. elway0798 Full Member

Cena gets 30 minutes and a match to start Raw and a match at the end.. HOLY SHIT...... Done watching for tonight..

Glad Jericho broke Ortons face tho...

Two posts during Raw? Not sure if SFN is going to shit, WWE is going to shit or both?
  9. bigben07 Full Member

    wwe is going to shit
  10. Bababaloney Full Member

Unfortunately, the traffic drop on these boards seems to have been gradual, but steady. I know for me, I really only come on SFN for this forum anymore. I rarely post in the HSS forum anymore.

In addition, there always appear to be fewer visitors on message boards during the summer months anyways. That being said, the WWE product can't be helping...

Hopefully some of the old regulars will find there way back here down the road...

so i don't follow tna all that much.. but alex shelly is gone.. he any good???

    supposedly flair is gone too

and the one guy that i know Matt Morgan is headed to the federation..
  12. Pussah2 Full Member

Losing Shelley and Morgan are huge. 2 young guys in their prime. TNA fucked up huge with Shelley. HIm feuding with Ziggler or Cody RHodes or Miz or Christian would be some great matches
    don fredo likes this.
  13. Pussah2 Full Member

flair is a mess. only come back to wwe if he manages. Him managing Ziggler instead of Vickie would be perfect. Would be like Heenan and Mr. perfect again
  14. JesusTwin #2 Full Member

Could Flair behave like a manager???? Heenan knew his role perfectly, WWE would have to have a short leash on Flair.

Read on PW Insider that Spike TV told TNA they had problems with Flair taking his clothes off and bleeding for a man of that age. About time someone said that.

how many people who post regulay in ths thread are dreading the 3 hour train wrecks that raw will become

instead of some better quality matches i bet we see more "comedy" more johnny ace and probably more promos plus another hour of annoying cole makes this a bad idea

I like the HHH, Lesnar and Heyman angle. No matter how bad things are right now, save this for SUmmerslam. I like Orton and Jericho. I l ike CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. The Cena, Big, Laurinatis crap completely sucks. That its the main event is really bad.
  19. Pussah2 Full Member

so flair is officially gone from TNA. Could he maybe come in feud with laurinitis for control of Raw and SMackdown. Would be absolutely perfect as a manager for Ziggler.
  20. Bababaloney Full Member

The HHH/ Lesnar angle has potential, but so far has not been good, IMHO.
They need to let Heyman be Heyman and shoot rather than recite this bland scripted crap...Heyman looks like he's sleep walking through his promos...It's really sad...

I agree about Orton / Jericho and Punk / Bryan...If the WWE doesn't screw this up, they'll be great SS matches.

    Cena vs. Show/ Johnny Ace...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...
  21. Bababaloney Full Member

From what I read about the situation, it almost seems Flair went out of his way to do things which could get him fired from TNA...
I wouldn't be surprised if he had a backroom deal already setup with the WWE which prompted his behavior.

Regardless, Flair is about one thing and one thing only right now...$$$$$$$$
It sounds like he still has major financial issues and there's no doubt WWE would pay him more.

I agree about managing Ziggler...Perfect fit...Anyway they use him it will be better than how TNA butchered him the past year or so.

    http://www.tmz.com/2012/05/24/chris-jericho-wwe-suspended-desecrating-brazilian-flag/
A WWE event in Brazil came to a screeching halt Thursday evening ... when local law enforcement stopped a live match and threatened to arrest Chris Jericho for desecrating the Brazilian flag.

It all went down during a match between Jericho and C.M. Punk -- who was proudly waving the flag in the ring. Jericho took the flag away, crumpled it up and kicked the flag out of the ring ... and that's when police stepped in and put a stop to the event.

We're told Jericho was informed that desecrating the national flag is a crime in Brazil ... punishable by incarceration.

Cops gave Jericho an option -- apologize to the arena ... or go to jail. Chris chose the former ... grabbing the mic and telling the crowd he immediately regretted his actions. Cops allowed the event to continue.

Sources connected to the WWE tell TMZ ... the flag stunt was NOT planned or approved by WWE officials.

The WWE has just released an official statement saying, "Chris Jericho has been suspended indefinitely due to an irresponsible act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a WWE event in Sao Paulo on May 24. The WWE has apologized to the citizens and the government of Brazil for this incident."
  24. Bababaloney Full Member

Even if Jericho acted on his own, you would think bookers and agents would have been instructed to inform performers what could and couldn't be done in a foreign country.

Looks like Jericho could very well get fired for this, although he was going to be done soon anyways.
  25. Bababaloney Full Member

Ok, so TNA is now suing the WWE...Looks like they may have a pretty good case if this former TNA employee actually did leak proprietary info.

At the very least, I would say it could delay Flair and Shelley from signing with the WWE as it looks like they'll be a TRO in place.

The article also touches on Flair's latest maneuvers which yet again don't paint a flattering picture of the "dirtiest player in the game".
For someone who was lauded as a consummate pro for so long, the guy has really become a lowlife. From running out on bar tabs to no showing events and PPVs to try to get released, this is quite the sad end to what was an amazing career at one point. I know the guy's broke, but come on!
Flair has undoubtedly tarnished his legacy...
