    This was a real cheap piece of shit. The plastic appeared to be deteriorating. Hard to complain though. If I spend $75 once every 5 years for a vacuum I'm getting by cheap I guess. I can make stuff last forever, but tough to do when the plastic is disintegrating.

    You're prolly right. The super fine dust is all electrostaticly charged and clinging to the inside area.

    I didn't go through the attic though. I hung the unit in the garage and ran the piping through the garage and into the mechanical room. From there I went up and into the hallway wall for the port upstairs and over and down for a port for the downstairs. I ran 110 to each port so I could just plug in the hose and have power to the attachment that used to work.

    Unfortunately no :sad:

    He retired a 1 star Admiral in Oct of 1993 and died of a heart attack in June 1994. I was watching OJ's slow drive on a TV at a restaurant while waiting for the rest of the family to meet for a get together and very sad dinner. That was an odd/sad/bad week all around :sad2:
