3 days of drunk broads, fast cars, and the warm California Sun ..... Funner than the 4th of July, New Years Eve, & Christmas Eve partying combined ....

Drinkin in the sun and watching cars go round and round and round ... what could go wrong?

Take a taxi home or get a hotel near the track ..... We used to get a motor home back in the day and park it along the track...3 days of pure Hedonism

Weekends like these, it can hard.... I've been going to this race every year since I was in Elementary school. I've had some off-the-Richter fun times, lit off my ass for 3 days straight....The after parties in all the hotel rooms after each days events.. Holy cow !!! .... But, just gotta enjoy it for what it is, nowadays. Its still a lot of fun

This aint a NASCAR event ... The crowds are polar opposites of each other. Smart people, hi-tech cars, hot European broads, Booming downtown area .....It s a whole different league

I may try that just to save a few bucks on parking...To park anywhere near the track its usually $30-$75 a day

Which means rednecks and their obese wives all wearing Dale Earnhardt T-shirts...... ..This is a giant California beach party that happens to have high-tech fast cars driving around closed off streets for 3 days.... It is quite unique

Yeah, F1 used to race here in Long Beach up until 1983. I was a much bigger fan of the F1 races than I am of the Indycar...But, Formula-One has gotten progressively more pretentious every year..Its pretty hard to watch any more
