Shortly and close to the election are one and the same. Gas dropped 6cents today just on the rumor, so it will drop prices for a while. Why else would he do this if not for political reasons?

Um, yeah it's getting close to the election. That is why there are all those campaign ads and the president is releasing campaign films. The summer driving season is key, if people have to cancel their vacations due to gas prices I don't think they will be feeling too hot on Obama.

But just spout anything regardless of it making and sense. You surely wouldn't want to put any thought into it.

Since you are connecting releasing the reserves to Obama's reelection, how much money DO YOU BELIEVE the price at the pump will go down to assure Obama reelection after the release of the reserves? That is your claim and I am wondering if you think a nickel, a dime or a quarter a gallon is the key to Obama's reelection.

Think about it. Politicians pay these advisors millions to get them elected. They should pay you to tell them to release the reserves, which in your opinion will drop the price at the pump such a substantial amount that everybody will vote for Obama. I just dont understand why nobody else thought of this before you. Releasing oil reserves=Obama's reelection....GENIUS!!

You did not find a post from me criticizing or praising Bush when he did the same thing and you wont hear anything different from me when/if Obama does it. At the end of the day, it makes no difference one way or another.

I don't know what the effect will be, and I doubt that it will "assure" Obama's reelection. Despite your assertion of other claims, I simply predicted that he would do it to boost his chances. There is no other reason for such a move, and I stand by my prediction that it will happen.
