Leonard was a pussy that ran from Duran in the ring and Hagler kicked his ass.

Those are two ridiculous claims. Leonard stayed toe to toe with Duran for a lot of that first fight, and in the rematch (obviously) he made him quit. If Hagler had kicked his ass, he would have stopped him. Leonard outpointed him, but it was close.

You watch that 2nd duran fight where he chased leonard in weight classes and don't see chicken shit leonard running?

You seemed confused about the difference between punching and boxing. Slipping and moving isn't running.

I can't grapple for shit. I've done some jiu-jitsu, but I always sucked at it and I was a shitty wrestler in high school. I appreciate both as sports, but I like punching and kicking.

I've also just been a Leonard fan my whole life, so I get defensive when people criticize him. I'm watching this documentary now, and it's the first time I've seen some of these fights in decades.

Here how I analyze this: Hearns can beat Leonard, Hagler and Duran. Hagler can beat Hearns, Duran. Duran can beat Leonard. I am going by their boxing style. Yeah, that right! Hagler can't ever beat Leonard.

Duran said well after the fact that his first statement was, "I don't want to fight with this clown anymore", and it's only when they asked for confirmation that he said, "No mas." So his claim was that he didn't quit -- he just didn't want to bother.

Used to be one of the greatest sports ever. Back then you could see a championship match on prime time ABC. Quality fights where nobody ducked anybody.
