You guys immediately think if a woman has a problem "down there" they're going to do a hysterectomy. She is having a problem with her bladder or kidneys. She said something about a fibroid, but I think she said that rather than "tumor". She probably thought it was a fibroid but found out differently.

Oh, I see. I assumed since she said fibroid she meant uterine fibroid.

I am not so sure that all of her bowel "maintenance" was such a good idea. The body has a way of naturally cleansing itself if you have a healthy diet (which she claims she did). I don't claim to treat my body as a temple (drink too much, diet too much, smoke too much etc.) and it comes back to bite the idiot who like me, acts in this fashion. I don't know what drove her, however, to do the coffee enema's and the other crazy stuff she was doing. In a nutshell does anybody remember those douche commercials that were on every five minutes years ago? I mean many years ago. They stopped advertising that shit cause it' not good for you. I just want to add that I am not putting her down. I only hope for the best for Robin. Been dealing with my own health issues and hospitals lately. Not fun. Wishing the best for her.

Been wondering what "AGT" meant. Now I know.......A Gunt Tumor.

Worst case scenario would be cancer that has metastasized, which could lead to her dying from it.If it is cancer, she needs to be doing a hell of a lot of research right about now, a grapefruit sized mass doesn't happen overnight. There's a great Dr at NY Presbyterian who removes the bad part of the bladder and reconstructs a bladder from a piece of ones intestine, quite amazing.
Whatever it is, if Robin is saying that the treatment is unacceptable, it must be pretty shitty, a catheter for a few weeks is doable, to me it sounds like the ostomy bag is the something she's not accepting.
Unless she's that vain, and she just doesn't want to deal with it.

To some people any change in life when you first hear of it is unacceptable. It could be hearing the news that you will have to take medication twice a day at an exact hour, injections or orally , whatever. Hopefully whatever it is she will come to accept it and be okay. It is probably worse than the things i mentioned. She is schooled in the medical profession so she has an edge on the general public. I am trying to watch a dvr of AGT from last night and i think i may not understand why? as an edit i am the general public and i dont know shit

She is lucky that obamacare is not in effect yet or she may not have been able to get to see specialists as quickly as she was able. Good for her and wish her all the best.

Another possibility, it is early stage cancer that can be cured with surgery.

If true, there's a good chance her Dr. wants to give her adjunct chemo after the mass is removed. That may be the issue that has her the most upset and considers unacceptable.

I hope she's going to be OK. My Mom passed away a few years ago from advanced cancer. No one should have to go through that horrible fucking disease.

I think you're spot on. I finally heard that segment during a replay last night, and I don't believe it's cancer. Sounds more like a urostomy bag until they can surgically remove that mass. She did say that it wasn't a "life or death" situation. Hopefully for Robin, it won't be a permanent thing.

It's gonna be hard to do/listen to sexy Robin parody songs knowing that she has a bag under her mumu for the next (hopefully, only a) few months!

I believe they like to minimize the time you wear an urostomy bag. They'd rather do surgery quickly and establish the normal "flow" than have someone rely on the catheter for months. The risk of infection is quite high using a catheter. It sounds to me like the mass is preventing her from voiding and that's why the catheter is being used. The scary thing is that a mass this size, as others have mentioned, doesn't show up overnight, so Robin has been having problems for a while.
