lamenting you didn't contribute to the problem?......abiding by the terms of the contract you signed?..... you are a sucker

    Question,

when the federally insured federal college loan program implodes in a few years who should we assign blame to? as in the housing market, remember the loan applicant is the victim.....[IMG]....must be the college's fault for letting them attend

That "tard" has more sense than all of you combined. That's why I'm rarely here. Just alot of name calling and B.S. ing

    Once and for all...

The fed did not instruct your beloved banks to give loans to unqualified buyers. They needed more cash for their derivatives and credit default swaps. The fed did not instruct the banks to hand out "no doc" loans. If you think they did, show me. Official e-mails will work as proof.

Bain capitol in the number one contributor to Romney. I guess they just bought themselves some "free speech"

Is that the advice the country club members give you instead of a tip for being their caddy, or parking their cars?

That tard prattled on about how the wealthy are done working when they have money, and other rubbish. He then made the poignant observation that the wealthy will only invest when there is money to be made as if this market force is a bad thing. You're entitled to your opinion, but before you come out shooting, make sure that you're aiming at the guy wearing the black hat.

But enough about this; how have you been?

I graduated in 1993... didn't meet either of those guys, but I've heard of and know a little about Mark Moore - smart guy indeed!

Regarding the class warfare dopes - the only thing that gives me comfort when reading this stuff is knowing it's an utterly self-defeating mentality, and someone who buys into the whole "rich man keeping me down" is only serving to make sure he'll never join that club. It's poetic justice ;)

didn't you say you were a car jockey at a dealership?....you're building a strong resume for a valet at the country club...put a quick shine on my Echos...

No.. And I'm not hiring at the moment.. Shoot me an email, and maybe I'll consider you. Might be nice to have a little something to supplement your SSI.

It's "Ecco" shoes. Maybe one day you'll be able to afford the real thing instead of the knockoffs..

You seem to know an awful lot about the wealthy, except you don't. The # of people who are wealthy who "make most of their money off of investments" is a small fraction of them. You are guilty of the same stuff everyone else is - assuming that the wealth of those with more than you was ill gotten and therefore ought to be subject to confiscation. The other word for the is jealousy. I don't know why you think "the rich" pay a lower tax rate than me? According to Obama, I am one of the rich guys who needs to be taxed more. Also, the "rich pay no (or little) tax" thing has been debunked a thousand times over. You don't accept that because it doesn't fit with your beliefs, so you dismiss the data. I posted it previously for that retard Billy from Philly. The numbers were straight from the IRS - no argument possible. And LOL @ "if you can afford a trip to China". I was there twice in the last 2 years dude... your radar is broken.

The "but they were selling them hard" argument doesn't fly with me. Everyone wants me to buy something. Every single thing I buy in my business, I have several suppliers who want me to buy it from them. I make my own decisions based on what works best for me. I occasionally read stories from deadbeats who blame the world for their problems. Just like everyone in prison is innocent and was set-up, everyone who screwed up their financial situation is not to blame, it was the blame of a banker/salesman, etc. Guess what - when you turn 18 and you start signing your name to contracts, that means something. If you couldn't afford the house but you bought it assuming that appreciation would earn you a fortune, well, you took a risk. You're wearing big-boy pants now and you gotta deal with the consequences of your actions. That's life.

So you don't whine about your taxes, but you just whine about OTHER peoples taxes - people who make more than you. And you want us to know you're NOT an envious loser. Oooookay! But you sure sound like one! You are just sure that people earning 5x what you do need to be taxed more. Why? Why don't we cut services? Why do we need to take MORE of peoples money so we can pay for more bullshit? We got by just fine in 2008 with less money than we take in today, so what are all these critical expenses that only the rich need to pay for?

They are so critical that we need to raise taxes, but not so critical that everyone should kick in and pay for 'em, only the rich people. And that's NOT class warfare.

    Ok, whatever you say!

I hope you realize that if you are earning $100/hr ($200k a year) and living in a 3k sq-ft home, then most people in this country want YOUR taxes to go up, because they think you aren't paying your fair share - you have too much! And there is no way you could have earned that... you have that home and salary because to fucked over the working man to get it, you bastard!
  19. HanzoTheRazor Full Member

then show us the numbers. you aren't making that up are you? :jj:

So are you saying you think people who work in a company should be liable for it's debts?

So if your employer drives the business into the ground, you won't mind if they liquidate your 3000 sq-ft home to pay back the creditors, right?

Let me guess... that little nugget of fascism is reserved only for the rich fat-cats who earn a lot more money than you do - those lying bastards!

But at least you pointed out that you're not an envious loser who is just jealous of those with more than you. That's how we know that your belief that rich people should pay a companies debt when it folks is based on rational thought and keen insight, and not at ALL on envy or class warfare!

Of course, if we want things to be "fair" as you state above.... well, an individual cannot make a net loss for the year... so any company that turns a loss would have to have the gov't kick in the balance to get them to break even. And individuals get unemployment, so we'd come up with un-salesment where if your sales are low, the gov't will buy stuff to keep your sales at a sustainable level. And we'll let corporations vote in elections - just to be fair. And we'll get rid of all the extra laws (OSHA, EPA, etc) that corporations need to worry about but individuals don't. And we'll make it law that you can't charge a company more for something (like phone service, electric, gas) than you do an individual.

Provided you are OK with all of that, I'll back your "make the employees pay if the company goes BK" (hey, that rhymes) idea.
