Romney to cut everything. Except Pentagon spending.

Heres where I call bullshit on the GOP being serious about budget cuts. THey are so eager to cut out health n dometic programs that help everyday americans, but then turn around and promis more spending on he military industrial machine.

If you really want to cut spending, military is the place to start. Its ripe with waste, and its the biggest drain on our tax dollars. Romeny wants to spend MORE on the Penatgon!! No cuts, but even more spending.

Yes it does,but a common defense doesn't require bases in Europe, bases in South America, bases in Iraq, Bases in Afghanistan.
It doesn't require being the worlds police, it doesn't require being the top contributor and defender of all of NATO
We have defended the world since the end of WW1/WW2 and it is time to let Europe, South America etc stand on their.
Why should the American taxpayer be paying for defense of NATO, Why should the taxpayer be paying for bases in Europe?
The spend nothing on their defense because they know that we are there to pick up the slack.
If they want to be part of NATO they should pay their fair share. If they want our bases in Europe, they should pay the cost, If they want our bases in South America they should pay the cost.
We are 15TRILLION in debt and just like spending cuts and tax increases can not be off the table, neither can a serious reduction in our military spending. We spend 750 BILLION+++ for the military, I bet it that got cut to 400 BILLION we will be fine and still spend more on defense than any other country in the world..

What I know is there was constant protests for the wars when Bush was president. The wars kept going after Obama was elected and new wars started but the protests in general ended and they even gave Obama a peace prize! Obama said he would get us out of Iraq immediately on day one, not 6 months from nor or a year from now but on day one. Three years later he removes combat troops but we are still in Iraq and we are still spending billions there, there are no US soldiers but there are something like 13 thousand tax payer funded mercenaries.

There is no reason for us to be in Afghanistan we should have been out years ago but Obama wants us to stay until 2024. Then he got us involved in 5 other wars that had 0 to do with national security and I completely expect him to get us involved with Iran.
